It's Your Birthday!

Good morning and welcome back to Great Impressions Tuesday!  Today I have a sunshiny birthday card for you that I really love!  It was also a very beautiful sunshiny day when I took the photo...love that!
This cheery card uses the following Great Impressions Stamps:  It's Your Birthday C458 and Spring Floral Border H228.   The patterned papers are from SU! and again, I happen to have some lovely yellow twine in my stash that matches so well and puts a perfect finish on the card...love it when that happens!

Well, that is what I have to share today. THANK YOU so much for stopping by! I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge! If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too! Until next time, happy stamping, friends! :)

I'm praying for you...

Good Thursday morning all!  I hope you've been having a lovely week!  I'm out of town until Saturday but I wanted to share this with you today so I scheduled this post for you!  Yay!
I recently applied for a position with the Imagine That! Digis by Kris Facebook team and was accepted...yay!  I've loved Kris's images for a long time (and used to be a part of her team a long time ago too!) and was eager to get back to playing with them.  I've used a pre-colored image here which is something I don't do very often but it was kinda fun!  The image, papers and sentiment are all from the Leesa's Sour Lemons kit.  The sentiments in this kit are wonderful so I hope you'll go check them out!  This time I didn't actually make this into a foldable card but more of a post card type of thing so the receiver will just flip it over to read the note.  It is fun and different that way, I think.

Well, I hope you have a wonderful day and rest of your week!  See you later!

Fun Coffee!

Good morning friends!  Welcome to Great Impressions Tuesday!  Today I'm sharing a card that I made after finding the papers in my stash...meeee too much paper?  No way!  *wink, wink*
My card today is made with the cute stamp Fun Coffee Cup H278.  As you can see I paper pieced the cup with a complimentary, fun, patterned paper, the whipped cream at the top has clear glaze as well as well as clear star gelly roll pen on it...so cute, wish I could have gotten a better photo for you. I had the perfect twine colors on hand to draw this all together!  I've also used a base of CutCardStock's brown paper bag precut card base which is a great finish to this card!

Well, that is what I have to share today. THANK YOU so much for stopping by! I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge! If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too! Until next time, happy stamping, friends! :)

PDE Linky Party

Welcome back to PDE Linky Party day here on my blog!  I'm excited to share my project with you so lets get started!

It's that time of year again when we get the chance to celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates.  At my house I have a son graduating high school and that means, of course, we know several people that will be graduating too.  That said a friend of mine has a daughter that is graduating from medical school and will move on to the East Coast for her residency as a surgeon...very exciting!  This girl's husband is also graduating as a pediatric nurse practitioner so my friend asked me to make some personalized cards for the graduates.  I happily accepted and these cards are the result!
First you see the surgeon card that I made for my friend's daughter.  We are all pretty proud of her!  The base of both cards is from SVG Cutting files and is Base Kit A.  Then I used the Doctor's Medical Add On for both of the images uniforms. We really wanted the surgeon to have a cap on so I just cut the hair again and then trimmed the hair to look like a skull cap.  That is a little knife in her hand that was made from the syringe file in the Medical Add On.

The doctor coat and stethoscope are also from the add on file.  I really loved how quickly both of these files went together!  I did forget to do some highlighting on our nurse practitioner but I added it later.  Oh, and the size of these cards is 5"x7".

Well, there you have it!  I hope you'll check out what all of the design team had to show off for the linky party and link up your own projects!

Holy Cow...18!?!

Happy Tuesday!  I'm glad you are here for my Great Impressions Stamps design team post today!  We had a very special birthday in our house on Saturday...my youngest son (I have three boys) turned 18 on Saturday!!  Yep, it hit me kinda hard but I'm so excited for him and his future!  Let's get to the card I created for him, shall we?

Cute and so appropriate, right?  I've used the Holy Cow E818 stamp on the outside along with fun birthday papers from SU!  On the inside, below, I've used the It's Your Birthday C458.
I gotta tell ya...I really love this card!  It is so my personality and his at the same time!  Now, I'm going to wipe my tears and get on with my day!

Well, that is what I have to share today. THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card! I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge! If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too! Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Light the candles.

Happy Tuesday friends!  Wow, did last week go quickly!  I'm working on several projects for different things so it seems like my weeks are just flying by!

I know you are here today to see a fun Great Impressions Stamps post though so lets get to it!
This silly little kitty is hiding behind the door because she is afraid of the number of candles that are being lit...lol!  I decided to go with a super clean and simple layout using SU! papers, copics, and the following Great Impressions Stamps:  Freak Me Out! (just part of the sentiment), Freaked Out Cat (front), and It's Your Birthday.  I didn't really do much with the inside so I could personalize it when giving.

Great Impressions April Challenge!

Hello friends!  What a fun and special challenge we have at Great Impressions this month!
As you can see it is time for our combined blog hop with CutCardStock!  For the Great Impressions Stamps I've used on this project they are:  F323 Fashion Swirls and E880 Sparkle  I'm excited to share my project with you all!
I am very excited to have received a wonderful package of BEAUTIFUL cardstock (and ribbon!) from CCS for this challenge and I'm using a couple of the colors on this project.  For the base of the wine tag I've used Stardream Metallic Card Stock in Lagoon and on the scalloped oval as well as to adorn the top of the tag (which you can't really see) I've used Stardream Metallic Card Stock in Amethyst.  Seriously, y'all, this card stock is luxurious...just so beautiful, a great weight, and wonderful color!

Now I hope you'll be hoping along with all of us designers from Great Impressions Stamps and CutCardStock...just follow along below and ENJOY!
