Are you looking forward to spring?

Just wondering if anyone else is looking forward to spring as I am? It has been a long last week or so due to the fog. Fog really makes your world small. Maybe today we'll get a little sun. If not, here is a card to help you dream about spring. Stamps: Delight in Life (there is still plenty of time to get your set for FREE!). Cardstock: Whisper White, Almost Amethyst, Certainly Celery, Regal Rose, Blush Blossom, Apricot Appeal, Whisper White, DSP from Just Delightful SS Kit. Inks: Just about all of the above. Accessories: Organdy, Brads. This layout is actually from SCS's sketch challenge 108 which is actually last weeks. I hemmed and hawed about whether or not I'd try this layout. I did and I guess I like it!

Now, for the mailbox. Jennifer left a comment that she wanted to see it. So...here you go! I'm such a smarty pants aren't I? I think she meant that she can't wait to see it done! Anyway, this is the mailbox that will be altered, hopefully of the next few days. Gotta do it before Todd comes home for the weekend!

Alright you guys. I'm off to check out my favorite blogs!

Have a Wonderful Wednesday!

Wallet Card

Today I will be posting a project that I think is so neat! It is called a wallet card. There are a couple of versions of this going around the Internet but I really like the simplicity of this version! As you can see it is a tri-fold card. I made it with two SAB sets. Delight in Life stamp set and Just Delightful Simply Scrappin' Kit. The cardstock colors are: Mellow Moss, Barely Banana, Regal Rose, Bashful Blue, and Whisper White. I used the Delight in Life set for the title on the belly band. I would add a little more detail and depth on the inside with some stamping of the yellow part if I did this exact card over again. I will not be giving out directions to this card at this time as I hope to use it for a stamp camp in the near future. So...if you are a stamper that comes to my house...what do you think? Should we make this? It is actually pretty fun and soooo easy!

Today I hope to start our next multi-day project. As you know I have traded with a friend to get one of those extremely cute mini mailboxes from Target (had to trade 'cuz nearest Target is 45 minutes away!). Over the next few days I will be altering it to be used for my husband's Valentine's Day gift. Keep that in mind as it will not be all frilly for that reason. Nice but not frilly! Come along for the series...it will be fun!

Have a Terrific Tuesday!

It's a pink morning here!

Morning ladies! A couple of days ago I said I was going to make a notebook for a fellow yahoo groupie's daughter that hasn't been feeling well for awhile. Well, it's taken me forever to finally get it done but here it is! I don't think her mom checks my blog so I think it is safe that it will be a surprise...yay! I think I will stamp a pen to go with...probably with the SAB set Delight in Life. I'm not in love with this notebook...in other words I don't think it's an out of the park home run but I do think it's cute and I do think a 16 year old will like it. I wanted her name to really pop off the notebook so that is why I used the Taken with Teal in the corner. Anyway...here is what I used. Stamps: Delight in Life. Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Loves Me DP, Regal Rose, Taken with Teal, Whisper White. Accessories: On Board Simon Lower Chipboard Letter, Computer (for Paige's Notebook), and Sticky Tape.

Lots of work to do at work today so hopefully later today I'll have time for stamping but I'm not sure as DS also has an intramural basketball game tonight. I just discovered when thinking about my weeks on the calendar that there isn't a Monday night that I'm home! I guess I should be thankful that it's just Mondays, huh? Oh, wait...it's not...but that is okay...being busy means I'm healthy so I'm good with that!

Have a great Monday all!

Fun Stamps...Read On

First, an apology! I have no new picture for you today. It seems that I had to go get a pedicure, sauna time, and massage yesterday! Woohoo! Todd surprised me with it all yesterday. So, I left the house at 11 a.m. and didn't get back home until 2 p.m. By then I needed to shower, plan a church activity (yes, I procrastinated), shop for said church activity, and be ready for our dinner (I had yummy Chicken Marsala) and movie by 5 p.m. So, see? I was busy! I do have to tell you about the movie though. We saw The Good Shepherd. Boy it was long BUT it was good. It was a 3 hour movie but I my attention was held the entire time...which is a feat in and of itself! I was a little confused in the beginning because it flashes back and forth between years but once I figured that out I was good. Todd and I rate movies by how much we would pay...full price, matinee, or rental (and sometimes...why did we watch that?). This is a full price movie, partially because of the length but it is really a well written, well acted movie. I want to do a little more research about it to see how much of it was actually true.

In apology for my no-picture status I have a couple links for you. Links to sign up to win some blog candy...woohoo! Go to Cindy's blog for a chance to win a super cute Bella Stamp! On Stephanie and Nancy's blog you can win a great assortment of products! Have fun signing up for those!

Happy Sunday!

Hearts

I've got a couple of things to show you today! I made the card this morning from an idea that I saw on the Michael's homepage. Mine doesn't really look like that one anymore but I LOVE it! Here is what I used. Stamp sets: Wild Hearts BG, Love It (hostess set). Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Real Red, Whisper White. Inks: Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Craft White. Accessories: Cuttlebug with Swirl Embossing Folder, Organdy ribbon, and 1/8" hole punch. It was fun to make and I think it is so cute!

The other thing I wanted to show you is the watermark on my photo. How cool is that? The reasoning behind a watermark is two-fold. 1. The SU! copywrite information is on my picture and therefore I am in compliance with the rules of SU!. 2. Apparently there are people that will go to a website (like SCS) or a blog (like mine) and right click on the picture and copy it. They then put that picture on their website or blog as if it were their own creation. That is a total misrepresentation and not fair to the creator of the card. Now, I'm not saying you can't CASE my work. I Love being CASED! I'm just saying if you want to use it on your website or blog you need to ask permission and give me credit. Make sense? Anyway, that is why the watermark is there. Not only that...it looks really neat! The lady that made mine for me makes all of her watermarks different so mine is like no one else's...cool, huh? Here is her blog...Cindy. Check it out!

I hope you all have a fantastic Saturday!

TGIF!!

Good morning, my friends! Sorry this is a bit late this morning...I have all the kids home a little later (late start for the middle son due to finals and youngest son is home sick) so I slept in a little this morning...wow was that nice!

Okay my share this morning is a card made with a non-SU! stamp but all stamping up cardstock and accessories. I hope I don't miss anything in the list of what I used 'cuz this one is already in the mail! I made if for the chemo patient that I angel. Which, by the way the CAT scan came back that there is no new growth in her cancer. Her rare type of cancer will never be cured (not on this side of eternity at least) but what they strive for in treatment is stability and what they have right now is...stability. I'm so thankful and happy for her! She is such a sweetie! Anyway, I sent her this card with some pictures I took in Las Vegas just for her. The stamp is from Stampendous and is called Lady Bug Fluffles. I just thought it was so cute! For the card itself I used...Chocolate Chip, Cameo Coral, Mellow Moss, Whisper White, and Spring Flowers DP for the Cardstock. For ink I used the staz-on pad to stamp the image along with the following colors and my blender pen to color the image...Bashful Blue, Going Grey, Ruby Red, Cameo Coral, Barely Banana, and Mellow Moss. Accessories are...Bouquet Punch and Seaside Ribbon Originals. I put the yellow punches at the top kinda like a sun and the green punches down at the bottom kinda like grass. This layout was, of course, a sketch challenge from SCS.

Today I'm going to make something for the daughter of a friend on one of my groups. She (the daughter) is in and out of the hospital due to Migraines and is finally going to get some help at a pain clinic. I just thought she needed something special just for her. I'll show you what I decide on tomorrow!

Oh, oh, oh! Did you see my hits are over 3,000! How exciting is that!?! Thanks for checking my blog out!

Have a awesome Friday!

What to share?

I have done quite a few stamping things in the last couple of days and I just can't decide what to show you! I guess, I'll show you the scrapbook page. I finally made myself sit down and finish it. This is the way they will be in the book. I know they are very simple but I guess they look okay. Now, onto the rest of the trip! I did add journalling onto the page on the right and changed the center pictures background layer to Buckaroo Blue like on the other page.

I have a question for you all. Why is it if you read this blog and you like something you don't comment? Is there something different you'd like to see? I just sometimes wonder if anyone is actually out there looking and if they enjoy it. Please give me your thoughts on this.

Okay, it's Thursday all! That means tomorrow is Friday and it's down hill to the weekend from there! Have a great day!

Ready for something sweet?

I did quite a bit of stamping last night but the best part was it was all so easy and fun! Last night I made the worlds smallest and cutest purse! Of course, this isn't just any purse. It is a purse filled with a sweet! It is a Nugget Purse. This cutie patootie was crafted with a small piece of designer paper, grosgrain ribbon, a brad, a cutter w/a scorer on it, and some sticky tape. Isn't that just the cutest thing you've seen? I could just see this size hanging on someones doll arm! Would you like to make one or two or your own? The directions are here! My blogging friend, Dawn, did a fantastic step by step tutorial of how to make these on here blog...check it out!

So, have at it all! I just think these would be the cutest little gifts for your friends...just because! And, I'm your friend...right? ;)

Anyway, I hope you have a great Wednesday!

Still changing it up!

Good morning all! I know, I know...a new, different layout on the blog. I changed it because I have a brand, spanking new blog banner that I had made for me that will look best in a simple layout. The bad part? I don't know enough about html and such to be able to replace the one that blogger has. SO...I will be begging everyone that I know to help me out with it. I think I almost have it all figured out but I'm afraid to push that delete button on the old one! Although there is a restore to original "widgets" button so I could just do that. (Don't ask about widgets...I'm not real sure!) So, if anyone out there knows how to do this and can explain it in really easy terms...let me know!

No stamping yesterday ladies...sorry! I was super busy with work and kiddos. I was a little worried about my meeting last night because of a new chair and members of the committee but it all went fine...God is faithful, isn't he? I do want you to know that I will be making something REALLY stinkin' cute for tomorrow's post! I can't wait to show you!

Okay, I haven't been on SCS for about 3 days now and I'm having fits about it so I must run with the 5 minutes let 'til the kids get up and check out what is new!

Have a fantastic Tuesday everyone!

AND THE WINNER IS...

Shannon! Congratulations! Shannon please click on my profile and then click on e-mail me to send me your address. Here is what she will be receiving (as soon as I figure out how to mail it!).
I've been seeing these cute milk carton's on SCS so i decided to try one! I think it turned out really cute. Now, I didn't fill it with anything (yet!) but I would imagine candy would be great in here. I think I may make three of these...one for each of my boys for Valentine's Day.

Shannon asked about VeggieTales Moms and I just wanted to answer her here (as well as privately). VTM is a very fun and new company that has "moms" show their products (movies, books, clothing, etc) via a home sell format. I joined VTM last fall and have had a great time with it. I had my website all updated and then I got kicked out of the system and it didn't change my information. SO...give me until this evening to update it (a great recruiting special and January/February Birthday specials) and then go see what it is all about! Just in case the link to the right doesn't work here you go! Lorie's VeggieTales Moms Website

I have lots to do today at work. I need to do some more planning for some stuff and I have a committee meeting tonight. One of the things I'll be working on today is labeling 66 pieces of wood that looks like books. Are you wondering why? Because we are learning about the Bible and all the books of the Bible in Sunday School! We have 3 different sizes and I will be putting the Bible book names on the front and spine this week. I'll take a picture and show it to you guys when I'm done. Oh, and guess what I'm doing this summer (and next). I will be going to Whitworth College (in Spokane) to attend the Diploma in Lay Pastoral Ministry program. I'm very excited about it but I haven't had any schooling past high school so I'm very nervous too! It is a two summer program where I will be staying at the college during the week and home on the weekend. I will need to do additional workshops/seminars in between the summers and do a final project at my church...yikes! Everyone is very supportive of me in this and I so appreciate it. I would ask that you pray for me to be open to the learning that I will be doing before I go and during the program. That I seek HIS best in this...not mine. Thank you!

Okay...that's it everyone! Make today the BEST Monday ever!

Not complete...

It's not complete but it's a start. Gosh I'm struggling a lot with the LasVegas scrapbook. You can definitely tell that I'm out of practice. I worked and worked on a 2-page layout yesterday and only got one of the two done. So, here it is...You can see (if you click on the picture) that some of the stamping I did didn't line up appropriately. So, what I plan to do on the right bottom corner is use my word window punch and make a window. I'll back it with paper and stamp the words..."Our Room" and maybe the room number (if I can remember it!). I know it doesn't look to thrilling but the page that will accompany it (on the left) will really make the layout. And, everything looks better with journalling! I hope to finish it today. Then I'll move on to more frustrating pages...I'm sure!

So, did ya know that yesterday was the one month anniversary of my having a blog? I should have done this yesterday BUT I didn't so today...a little celebration. If you leave a comment on my blog sometime before midnight today I'll draw a name on Monday morning and will send that person a little something. I don't know what it will be yet but who doesn't like to get something in the mail besides a bill?

Hope you all have a great Sunday!

Title Page

Well, I finished what I think will be the title page to my Las Vegas scrapbook. I'm not even sure I like it but honestly, I had a horrible time with the title page. Please be gentle! In the big white rectangle I will be writing in the date and maybe a few words about why we went. The little center photos are just small pictures of some of the hotels in the area...it was really plain there and needed something. Stamps: Think Big. Cardstock: Buckaroo Blue, Cranberry Crisp, True Thyme, and Whisper White. Ink: same as cardstock. Accessories: Stitched Ribbon, UHU glue roller.

Speaking of UHU. Awhile back I saw a blog where I could sign up to receive samples of UHU products if I wrote a review of it on my blog. Well, today is the day ladies. Here is her blog. I have to say that I really like the UHU glue roller. It is permanent BUT you have a short period of time to reposition if you need too. I also received Scrapbookers Glue Pen. Now that thing is wonderful. It is super fast paper glue. It doesn't wrinkle the paper and dries really quickly. It is in a pen type of applicator and comes out kinda quickly but very evenly. I would suggest you guys try this stuff if you are looking for something new to scrapbook with!

Tomorrow...I will have a stamping project to share with you and a big announcement from Stampin' Up!

Until then...enjoy your Friday!

I FOUND IT!!!

I found the magazine WITHOUT turning the house upside down!!! Yahoo!

Dog Gone It!

Okay, so I said I was going to be scrapbooking for the next week or so. I got my Vegas pictures out and proceeded to find my favorite sketch book and I cannot find it anywhere!! I love this book because it gives you sketches based on how many pictures you have for your layout. I'm going to turn this house upside down looking for it today!

The good news? I did sort my pictures out. I put them in piles of which pictures I want together. It really is the first step for me. I have a total of 55 pictures from Vegas to scrapbook. Now...another problem I had yesterday is whether or not to start a brand new book. I have previously scrapbooked in my CM books but I did by a 12X12 book just for Todd and I pictures. I don't know if I should just keep on in the CM or start a new one. I thought about cutting the metal sides off the CM and putting them into the SU! book but as I look at the pages some of them go all the way out and it just won't work. Opinions anyone? I also have several different kits from scrapjammies I want to use but they are so different that I'm not sure. I guess it doesn't matter as long as they aren't right next to each other. Ahhh...decisions! I know, I know...to only have that to worry about! (Which of course isn't the only worry in my life!)

I should be getting my mailbox in the mail today to decorate so I can't wait to start that too! We'll be doing that one step by step though so get ready!

Have a great Thursday everyone!

Coaster Scrapbook

Good morning all! I said yesterday that I was going to do some scrapbooking over the next couple of days and that is what I did. I started with the easiest thing first...a little scrapbook of Kyler. I had some really cute pictures of him from summer last year and wanted to share them scrapbook for her....just didn't think it would take me this long to get it done! Anyway, I'm with grandma so I thought I'd do a mini pleased with the results (except for one goof on the back) and I think she'll like it a lot! Stamp sets: Some Like It Hot, Shore Thing, Rough Edges Alpha, and Spunky Alphabet. Cardstock: Treehouse Designer Paper, Buckaroo Blue, Marigold Morning, Whisper White. Ink: Yoyo Yellow, Buckaroo Blue, Real Red, Old Olive, Basic Black, and Summer Sun. Accessories: On Board Simon Lower Chipboard, Chipboard Coasters, Twill Tape, Sticky Strip, and Modge Podge.

This was so much fun to make and so easy! There are detailed instructions on SCS on how to put the book together so try it yourself! After I show it to a couple of people this week I'll be putting it in the mail in time for Valentine's Day! Hopefully she won't check this blog prior to then, huh?

Today, hopefully, I'll get started on my Vegas book. I've been trying to sort in my mind how it is going to go but it isn't quite there yet. I thought I'd use my Tickets and Tokens Simply Scrappin' kit from SU! but it seems that is a little more for international travel. I don't know...I'll look at it again and see!

Until tomorrow...have a great Wednesday!!!

***Edited to say that I had four pictures of the book on this site and I came later to find that they are all gone. Very strange! I just put one picture back.***

Something Clever?

For some reason I have the hardest time giving my posts a title. I always want something clever but seems I can never think of it!

Here is a card that I made with Like It A Latte' from the winter mini. This is the card that is CASEd from Kendra's blog (click on her name if you'd like to see the original). Stamps: Like it a Latte' and Love Matters. Cardstock: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, and So Saffron. Ink: So Saffron, and Chocolate Chip. Accessories: Dimensionals, Stickles Liquid Pearls in White Opal (very similar to Lumiere), Chocolate Chip Marker, Flirty Ribbon, and Grosgrain Ribbon. This is to add to my stash of cards for my lovey stash.

For those of you who know about the weird weather that the West side of Washington has been getting...just a little update. It is snowing again! Todd's classes have been delayed (again) until 10 a.m. I sure hope they don't continue to have bad weather, delay, and cancel school for him as soon it will push back his graduation date.

Anyway, Over the next couple of days I'm going to try and do some scrapbooking. I'd really like to get the photos of the LasVegas trip scrapbooked before I forget the details. I'm also wanting to make a little scrapbook for Kyler's grandma (which would take me no time at all if I'd just do it!) AND I need to upload, print, and then scrapbook Christmas pictures. I know it sounds like a lot but I know once I sit down to do it....I'll be done in a flash! Anyway, I'm telling you this so that you know to be looking for some scrapbook pages over the next few days...something new for this blog!

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

A Day Off

It's a day off of school for the kiddos (and Todd) today! Although you'd think I'd get more stuff done because I don't have to run around as much but for some reason whenever the kids are home...I get nuthin' done! Hopefully I'll get some stamping done anyway!

Yesterday I did two different cards. The one I'm going to post uses a Cuttlebug embossing folder and a color I don't use much...Cool Caribbean (from the In Color line). Stamps: Sweet on You (winter mini) and the I Love You is from Gina K Designs. Cardstock: Basic Black, Cool Caribbean, and Whisper White. Accessories: Accents & Elements (winter mini), and Cuttlebug. I've been making several "lovey" type of cards recently to build up my stash for a reason to be seen in the future! Just a quick note that if I had not had a Cuttlebug I would have used either the Wild Hearts or On The Spot BG stamp and it still would be a really cute card!

Stay tuned until tomorrow...I've got another cutie to show you that was inspired by my blogging friend, Kendra. You can see her blog by clicking on her name to the right.

Have a great Monday!

And Another

Okay, so I did one more card with the sketch challenge for the week. The fun part? I used my new Cuttlebug for one of the elements. I just love that thing! It is so easy to use and adds an element into my crafting I didn't think I'd every be able to afford (ever see the prices on die cut machines?). I know the picture isn't the best but it is the best picture that shows the embossing that I did with the Cuttlebug. Anyway, here it is...Stamps: Very Punny, Small Sayings, A Muse (saying stamp). Cardstock: Taken with Teal, Regal Rose, Whipser White, Loves Me Designer paper. Ink: Basic Black, Regal Rose. Accessories: Cuttlebug embossing folder, Cutter Kit, Flirty Ribbon, and Dimensionals.

Soon I'm going to do a multi-day project. One of the rages on the crafting scene right now is to take one of the little mailboxes you can get out there and alter it by covering with paper and such. I've decided to make one of them (once I receive them). I thought it would be a good project to share with everyone. Keep an eye out!

Okay, I'm off to start my Saturday. Have a great day everyone!

Friday, January 12, 2007

It came!

It's here, it's here! My Cuttlebug came last night just before my leaving for church (of course). I didn't have anytime to do anything with it last night but rest assured I will be playing with it today!

Here is another card that I made from this weeks sketch challenge. This has already been sent to it's intended receiver so I hope I don't miss anything on the card. Stamp Set: Love Matters. Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Whisper White, and Love Me Designer Paper. Ink: Chocolate Chip and Regal Rose. Accessories: Flirty Ribbon and White Gel Pen. This was tons of fun to make and oh, so easy with the designer paper.

So, that is my sharing for today. I hope you have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful 3-Day weekend!

Differences

Just a quick post about differences today. Differences in stamping are just like differences in other area's of your life. I have come to find that I look at all the fabulous card/scrapbook pages on Splitcoast and get discouraged because mine aren't that fancy or why can't I be that creative. Well, we all are at different levels. Some designs are for me and some aren't. It doesn't mean that I'm a horrible stamper it just means that it takes me a little more to be creative. It's the same with the Stampin' Up! business. Some people are are able to do this business full time and do fantastic. Some, like me, are just plugging along, still enjoying the business but not making it into anything especially huge. That is okay too. Just always remember it's your time do with it what you'd like...with whom you'd like...and you'll be fine.

Now, onto a card I made last night. As I've told you all before SCS has a new sketch challenge every week and this card's layout is from that. The cardstock is Mellow Moss, Close to Cocoa, Regal Rose, Whisper White, and Rebeccah Designer Paper. The inks are Regal Rose and Mellow Moss. Accessories are the Uniglo Gel Pen, Wide White Organdy, Dimensionals, and some Stickles. The stamp set is called Polka Dots and Paisley and it is a brand new set that will be coming out in the Spring Mini. All SU! demonstrators received this stamp set as a gift from Shelli (the president of SU!) this past Christmas. Also, what is exciting is if you sign up to become a SU! demo anytime in January or February you will receive this set (in addition to one other free set of your choice AND all of the other stampin' stuff in your kit) for free too! Just a little plug for a moment!

Anyway, enjoy your Thursday, all!

Stamp Club was FUN!!!

We had stamp club last night and it was so much fun! Everyone that comes is so talented and nice. I wish we could meet up two or three times a month just so I could get to see them and chat with them!

I'm going to post a 2-4-6-8 Box that we made last night. It is an excellent size box for Valentine's Day sharing at your childs school or even perhaps with your co-workers (of course with co-workers you have to be careful what you stamp and well, you get the idea!). You can go to this blog and find step by step directions for makings these.

Ohhhhh...guess what? I got shipping notices yesterday for my Cuttlebug and the embossing templates and dies that I ordered! They should be here tomorrow! I can't wait to play with them!

So, got a few things to do today (put in the stamp club order) and go to Charter to check on my account but other than that I should be able to do some stamping! Check back tomorrow to see!

A request for you. My husband, Todd, has started his five month stint at the Washington Basic Law Enforcement Academy and I'm just asking for prayer that all will go fine. He will be traveling back and forth on the weekends from Tacoma and with the pass and such...well, prayers are just appreciated!

Have a great Wednesday everyone!

PS: Blogger just got hung up so I didn't get to spell check. I apologize now for any mistakes! :0)

Yes! You are in the right place!

Good morning all! I'm just trying to find a template that works for me so I'm using different styles every now and then. Please bear with me! I kinda like this green!

So...I definitely had some time to stamp yesterday and was very fruitful with my time. Just one more project and I'll be ready for stamp club on Tuesday...nothing like waiting 'til the last minute, huh? I was all done with my club stamping and sat down to wind down and watch a little t.v. when a thread that I had read on SCS came to mind. It's a thread asking for ideas of no layer Sell-A-Bration cards. Anyway, I was sitting there and all of a sudden an idea came to mind. So, I hopped up and made this card. I think it is very cute but the Stickles didn't work quite the way I wanted. The idea was a light layer of glitter but I got a lot. I should have used dazzling diamonds, huh? I still think it is darn cute though! The size is 4 1/4 X 4 1/4. I used Whisper White cardstock, red gingham ribbon, Real Red ink, Basic Black ink, Christmas Red Stickles, and markers. Very easy and quick to make!

Today I will finish the last project and do some more pleasure stamping. I have a couple of more things in mind so I'd like to see if I can do them.

Hope you all have a great Sunday!

Yay! It's the weekend!

What a beautiful thing it is when you wake up and not only is it Saturday BUT the snowstorm that was supposed to leave you 5"-9" of snow...didn't! Yay! No shoveling...no worries about the snow BUT it does look pretty slippery out there. Good thing I have to stay inside here and stamp today, huh?

I have three more projects to finish for Stamp Club this month. Thankfully I have them all planned I just have to make them come to life now! Did you remember that Valentine's Day is next month? Well, we will be covering that on Tuesday, too!

I have to tell you guys about the new purchase I made for my crafting. It isn't SU! which is so very unusual, it's a Cuttlebug! This incredibly cute little machine is a die cut machine. Similar to the machines that schools and your local scrapbook store may have only small and less expensive. For it I have purchased some embossing templates, an alphabet, and some 2X2 dies. Although this can't be used in my SU! business I think it will re-invigorate my scrapbooking life! I'm just thrilled to be getting it and can't wait to show you what it can do!

Alright ladies...that is my jabber for the day! Have a spectacular Saturday and hopefully I'll see you tomorrow with a creation I can post!

I tried!

Because my friend, Dawn, said she missed the picture of Todd and I on this blog I decided to put another up. Easier said than done as you have to have a URL for your photo for Blogger. That isn't the hard part. The hard part is finding the picture in just the right size to make it look okay of this first page. Well, I couldn't do it so I just left it as it is. If you click on it and then click on it again then you will be able to see the picture not all messed up. I would just put the old one back up but I can't remember where it is!

Although I did stamp yesterday I have no new pictures for you. Have you checked out the sketch challenge for this week though? You could certainly try that and make one of your own cards today. Here is a link! It is a really cute sketch and easy too! Good luck!

Well, kiddos are getting up and things are going to start moving along pretty soon so I must scoot! Have a great day all!

It's New...but the same!

Yep, that is correct! You are in the same place just with a new look! I decided I needed a change for my blog template so this is what I changed it to. It's probably just temporary as I don't "love" it but for now you are in the right place!

I've been busy working on projects for Stamp Club next week so I won't be able to share much right now. I just wanted you all to know I'm still here and working away. Hopefully soon I'll have a new creation to share.

I do want to share a picture of the slide that Todd made for Kyler in the backyard. We've had just a ton of snow and so a slide seemed appropriate. Todd had made a smaller slide on the right of the big one but decided that since we've had more snow a bigger one is in order. I'm a little worried Kyler will fall of the top of the slide and hurt himself but I've been told he'll be fine. Even Scott and Todd have gone down this one! (If you click on the picture it will become bigger, 'cuz I forgot to change the pixel size but anyway when it's bigger you'll see how tall it is with Todd standing next to it.)

I hope everyone has a great Wednesday!
