Reading Bethany...

Happy Saturday everyone! I can hardly believe we are here on the weekend already! I hope you have plenty of fun things planned!

Today, I just had to share with you a fun little card I made with the Reading Bethany digital stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. Don't you just adore this sweet image? How cute is Bethany with that bird on her foot? I'm so ready for spring! This paper is from a DCWV matstack called Sweet that I found this last week at our local Bi-Mart. I just new the flowers and yellow would be so 'sweet' and springy...perfect for Bethany to be outside enjoying a book during a spring day!

Well, that is it for this Saturday! Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I'll see you on Tuesday!

McMahon 5 Designs Day!

Good morning everyone and happy Thursday! Welcome to another McMahon 5 Designs release day. Be prepared to have your socks knocked off by the design team again this week as they all totally outdid themselves again. This is such a talented group of women!

My card is made with the Miss You image and sentiment by Studio 313. I used bright, springy colors and kind of a basic layout to go with the missing you theme. The patterned papers are DCWV and the sentiment was printed right on the patterned paper. Everyone knows how to do that, right? If not I'm happy to do a little tutorial on how I do it...just let me know! My layout for this card is from the Paper Craft Planet sketch for the week.

Anyway, onto all the new releases and fabulous work!

Oxais = Doodle Pantry Goodness!

Good morning! And here we've arrived at Wednesday, can you believe it?! This week is flying by!

Today I have a card to show you that has a new image from Doodle Pantry. The set the main image comes from is called Oxais. Now I'm not a gardening type of person but I believe that is the technical name of the plant. The sentiment is from another one of the new sets called Irish Birdie and I have to say I really think the sentiment is so sweet! Okay, really you have to check out all the new releases HERE. You will see the new FREEBIE on that page, too so check it out!

Don't forget Doodle Pantry's challenge right now...sparkle and bling. Just use some sparkle and/or bling on your card and you are all set to go! Check that out HERE and be sure to join us for a chance to win one of four prizes!

Have an absolutely wonderful day everyone!Smiley from millan.net

Peep's Sheep

Smiley from millan.net While it is morning here I know that in other parts of the US it is almost noon! Being that it is President's Day I don't have anything pressing to do today so it was nice to sleep in a little!

Today is a Whatnot Monday with another cute image from Paper Pretties. Read all about the new releases HERE. Yes, I went really un-traditional on the colors and such with this card but it was SO much fun when I did it and it is actually a color combination that SU! suggested so, there! Haha! This sheep is the partner to the new image called Little Bear Peep and the sheep's name is Peep's Sheep. Isn't that just too cute? Anyway, my patterned paper on this card is from DCWV Citrus Matstack. I thought all the swirly background would go well with the sheep. I wasn't sure which way to go with the sentiment so I made it just a generic 'hello'.

Today is going to be my last post as a Paper Pretties Digi DT member. Due to new responsibilities with Doodle Pantry and such I decided that it would be best for me to step back from this DT. All of the images have been super cute so make sure that you continue to check them out!

Well, that is it for now. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Big News!

Hello there friends! Some of you may know that I don't post crafty stuff on my blog on Sunday's as I usually leave that to my Sunday Share but today is a special day. Today I get to tell you that I have been chosen to be a member of the Doodle Pantry Creative Team! I'm am absolutely thrilled to be a part of this super talented team working with such fun and creative, not to mention cute, images!

I will be working on updating my sidebar to include Doodle Pantry in my Design Team area and linking up all my talented sisters so make sure you come back and check them all out!

To my friends Kris and Kathy...a special congrats as we will all three be on the Doodle Pantry Creative Team together and I'm SO excited about that!

Make sure that you jump on over to the Doodle Pantry blog to check out the fun new challenge that they have up for everyone to enjoy. You could win one of FOUR prizes so be sure to get creating!

Now...real quick about my little box. I LOVED this sheep from the Lucky Sheep set the first time I saw it but am not much of a St. Patrick's day person so I took and used one of the more generic sentiments from the set to make this little package. In the package inside is some bubble gum. That just makes me smile...have a happy go lucky day and who wouldn't with some bubble gum? And don't you love that Laurie (owner of Doodle Pantry) supplies colored images as well as line images in her sets? I LOVE that as it makes it SO easy to make a really cute gift or card in no time flat and you know we are all busy, busy these days!

So...there you have it! I can't wait to share more Doodle Pantry goodness with you soon!

Sunday Share: "Your Love is Amazing"

Good morning friends! I hope you've had a fun and productive weekend. I have not gotten done nearly as much as I'd like but today is a new day...yay!

So...are you following along or doing the Made to Crave study with us or another group? How was your week? I have definitely figured out that stress makes me want to eat all the wrong things and I'll be honest I gave in when I shouldn't have but I have learned valuable lessons this past week that I'll be able to put into play during stressful situations in the future. Please, share with me how your week has been...Made to Crave or not!

I will be back today with a crafty post and some really exciting news! See ya then!

Rainy Day

Good Saturday morning everyone! Isn't it nice to be into the weekend? Are you just as busy today as during the week?

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps released some new digi images yesterday and I just have to share a card I made with one of them. Isn't Rainy Day Bethany so cute? I imagine that she is saying hello to spring through the rain. That is what we do where I live...lots of rain and cloudy/fogging days in the spring here.

I picked up some DCWV pre-made embossed card w/envelopes while I was at Michael's the other day and this card is made with a dots card. I don't love the sponging that I did on it so I used some smooch spritz on the card to give it some shimmer/glitter.

So, there you have it...a super quick post for you today. Tomorrow you'll get two posts though so hang on to your hats!

McMahon 5 Designs Day

Good morning friends! It is Thursday so what does that mean? Yep, it is another new release with McMahon 5 Designs! Today is also the 3rd Thursday of the month so that means Sue is releasing the new Break Cancer Awareness image. You can see more about that in my post below.

Today I used the new BCA image. I love the butterflies! I paired the image with some lovely pinks and browns and a splash of blue. It just makes me happy! The sketch is this week's Mojo Monday sketch that I rotated to work for the image.

So...whatcha waiting for? Scroll down for all the wonderful M5D new images and to see what the other designers have made for this week.

See ya tomorrow!
