Wishes Your Way

It is another cloudy morning here this morning. It does look as if it is supposed to be partly cloudy though so maybe we'll get to see the sun for the first time in weeks today?!!
Here is another fun swap card share.  This cute pinwheel is made with the brand new Sizzlits S Die named Pinwheel and for $4.95 it is affordable!  Appropriate name, huh?  The cute sentiment is a complimentary set to the die called Wishes Your Way.  What a fun way to make someone smile!
I hope you find many ways to smile today!  Have a wonderful day! From Millan.Net

Love All Dressed Up

Good Monday morning all!  I hope you had a wonderful, restful weekend!  I'm back with another share from the swap I was in.
This card was created by Penny Smiles and features the All Dressed up Framelits.  Isn't this just adorable?  I love that flower sash which was made with the very pretty 5/8" Flower Trim in the Spring Catalog.  I love this clean, simple, beautiful card!

See you all tomorrow!

Hello friends! Over the next week and a half or so I'll be sharing cards that I received in a Spring Catalog swap that I participated in with my SU! upline/sideline. I hope you enjoy!

So, this card was made by Carla Blake who also coordinated the swap.  I love pink so you know I love this one!  I've seen so many wonderful things done with this stamp set too, it's called Amazing Family and is definitely on my future purchase list.  The Honeycomb embossing folder and ribbon are part of the spring catalog too!

Never more...

Good Wednesday morning!  I'm so glad it is the middle of the week.  It is one week from today that we take Kyler to Seattle Children's to have his knee looked at.  The waiting has gone quickly so far so I'm sure this next week will go quickly too.
Anyway, another card I made here today.  I had most of this card sitting on my desk for days just due to the fact that I couldn't find an appropriate sentiment for it.  I finally did, though, and finished the card up.  All is is current Stampin' Up! (Spring catalog and SAB) except the sentiment.  I thought this would be a cute card for a couple of members of my PEO chapter.

Now, don't forget about SAB where you earn free stuff like the patterned paper I used here and well as stamps, ribbon/buttons/even digi files!  You can check it all out HERE!

Well, there you are for today.  I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!

Sycamore Street and more!

Good morning friends!  I know it has been forever since I've posted anything.  My life just seems stuck on fast forward and honestly, I've not had any creating mojo until yesterday so I took advantage of it and made some cards yesterday.  I also have about two weeks worth of sharing for you thanks to a swap I was involved in!  So, here you go!
It's the most wonderful time of the year...in Stampin' Up!'s year at least.  Sale-A-Bration starts today so I thought I'd show off some of the great products you have the opportunity to get for FREE!  This card is for a friend who had foot surgery.  We are taking her dinner tonight so I thought a card and a small set of thank you cards would be a nice addition.  The card above uses the CaUTE stamp from the SAB called Patterned Occasions.  The sketch is from Operation Write Home.
The image in the cards above is also from Patterned Occasions and this time I've used the cute paper you can earn called Sycamore Street and the ribbon/buttons are also from SAB and come in the Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button Pack.  Automatic matching...who doesn't love that?

What?  You don't know what SAB is?  Well,  SAB is a way to earn free SU! products just by purchasing, hosting a party, or becoming a demonstrator!

happy day

Good morning! I hope you've had a wonderful weekend!Mine was pretty uneventful which is always fine with me!  I have a card to show you today...another All Dressed Up card...can you tell I like the set and the framelits?  They are fun to play with!  I'm actually working on another card with the same set!
This is the birthday card I made for my friend, Lori (she has to be great with that name, huh?), she and her husband were the first people we met when we moved here, our husbands were both Army (Todd active and Jeff Guard) and now we have even more in common as both of our boys are in the Army.  Those military bonds are tight!  Anyway, I wanted to make her a card and here it is.  The cute little "happy day" stamp on the card is also from the spring catalog in a set called Ciao Baby! and the little punch you can get from the SAB catalog when it becomes active!
And then just a fun little flower made with punches on the inside and another 'happy day' sentiment.  this was a fun card to make and give!

Stampin' Up! will be announcing several new stamps, kits and products over the coming days, weeks, and months... today I am sharing a really fun new kit with you...
it's called Dude, You're Welcome!

Officailly Awesome Valentines!

Good morning!  I don't want to become the Stampin' Up! demo that only posts sales and 'buy this' type of posts on my blog so I've been trying to stick to the great promotions that SU! has for my blog BUT when I saw this super cute My Digital Studio download (which you can download as a general download and use it in any scrapbooking software as well) for Valentine's Day I had to share it with you all!  From Millan.Net

I don't have kids young enough to give school Valentines anymore and I have boys but I'm telling you if I had a young girl I'd SO use these!  The best part?  The download is only $3.95!!  Check it out HERE.  Don't forget to check out the Spring Catalog goodies while you are there!

All Dressed Up

Good morning all! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  Mine was a mixture of good and sad.  Jon was home with us for about two week and had to go back to Alaska on Saturday...hate that!  We had such a nice time with him and Brianna came to visit too so we managed to get a fun family photo which I'll be sharing later this week.  First...some stampy goodness!
I have several birthday's this month to send cards for so I sat down and made a couple of cards.  I just adore this card and it is made made completely with NEW products either from the Spring Catalog or from the upcoming Sale-A-Bration Catalog!  Right now you are able to purchase the super cute All Dressed Up framelits which is how I made the dress and the happy birthday is part of a sentiment from the All Dressed Up stamp set.  The cardstock colors are Rich Razzleberry and Summer Starfruit.  The patterned paper, ribbon, embossing folder, and buttons are all from the SAB Catalog that begins on January 22nd.  With each $50 purchase you make you may chose one item from the SAB catalog...don't ask me house much I bought, k? From Millan.Net
These two photos are from Shelli Gardner's blog (president of SU!).  She had these projects on the local TV stations morning show and I thought they were so cute I'd share them with you!  Don't forget about the super cute Valentine's Day bundles SU! has right now.  See them HERE
Well that is it for today.  I'll be back tomorrow with another birthday card so don't miss me too much!

Finally!

Well, hello there friends! I know it has been forever since I've posted something crafty so I thought I'd share the photo of the card that I sent out as part of the Inking Idaho spring catalog group swap.  Yep!  All new images, paper, and ribbon!  I know...your jealous!
You can order all of these products plus MUCH more from the Spring Catalog HERE.  Do you need/want a copy of the spring catalog?  Comment here and I'll make sure you get one!

In other news...I've done it again!  I've taken on another super fun and meaningful direct sales business.  It is called Origami Owl...fun name, huh?  Here is what Origami Owl says:

Origami Owl was founded by a 14 year old entrepreneur. Inspired by the desire to create jewelry that would be beautiful, meaningful, whimsical and fun, Isabella Weems launched the company with the goal of saving enough money to buy her first car. In 2010 she introduced the “Living Locket”, a necklace that can be customized with meaningful charms that represent things that are important to you.

Here is what my first locket looked like...I've since added some more charms to the locket.
If you are interested in ordering your own locket you can e-mail me and you may take a look at my webpage HERE.  If you live locally you can have your own Origami Owl party!  Not local we can do a catalog party or even a Facebook party!  Let me know if you have any questions!

Yearly Word

Good morning friends and Happy New Year! I hope you had a fun time ringing the new year in with your friends and/or family!  My entire family was here which was great!

Some of you may have heard of choosing a word to strive towards during the year rather than making a resolution.  I've never made resolutions so choosing a word makes more sense to me.  In typical Lorie fashion I didn't just pick an easy word I picked a word with challenge...Graceful(l).

I will be striving towards being Graceful in two ways.  First in form and action.  Making sure I don't move like an elephant but try to be graceful in my movement.  And, showing unmerited exception to others as Jesus gave to me on the cross.

What about you?  have you made any resolutions or picked a word for the year to strive towards?
