The earth laughs in flowers.

Good morning once again friends!  I know...crazy that I would be back a 2nd day in a row, right?  I told you I made two cards though and I just remembered I still have some cards to share with you from the card swap I was a party of so, if things don't get in the way, I'll be sharing those will you too over the next few days.
I made this card for a friend whose dad was just put into comfort hospice care.  I just wanted to share a little note that I was thinking of them.  I hope she likes it.  Everything on this card is Stampin' Up!  and from the IB&C.  The paper is called Floral District and the stamp set is Fabulous Florets.  I stamp and cut our the two flowers to place them on my card.  And, the ribbon is Daffodil Delight Taffeta.

So, there you have it!  I hope you have a lovely day!

A Happy Hello

Good morning friends! I made a couple of cards this last weekend that I thought I'd share with you.
Today's is a simple card made with the flower made with the Madison Avenue stamp set you can get through Sale A Bration (the sentiment is an old PTI sentiment) and the papers are from the spring catalog and are called Print Poetry.  I really like that paper as it is in a great size for paper making, 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" and there are masculine colors and feminine colors.

I also want to let you know that while I'm happy to take your order for any Stampin' Up! products you may need I no longer have a SU! Demonstrator Website.  I just couldn't justify the cost for it any longer so if you would like anything just comment here on my blog or shoot me an email.

I hope you all have a wonderful day!  See you later!

Owl Nurse

Good morning friends! I know it has been awhile since I've been here. I am a creature of habit and when I can't get here to post at my normal time (before 7 a.m.) it just doesn't happen.  We've had long nights due to the medication schedule Kyler has been on and last night is the first time since the surgery we've only had to wake up once...yay!  It had been about four times a night before that.  Needless to say we were getting very tired!  Anyway, you didn't come here for that...lets take a look at this cute owl card I made!
One of my hubby's co-workers somehow broke her leg and ended up needing surgery and such so I thought it would be nice to make her a card.  I searched Google images for a cute punch art get well card and look what I found!  The original was made by Kay Sha a couple of years ago and I thought it was just so stinkin' cute I had to CASE it!  All except the sentiment is from SU!  I love the yellow and blue...so happy!  I'll list the products below for you!

Well, I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!  Are you ready for the big Valentine's Day tomorrow?

Stampin' Up! Products on this card:
Papers:  So Saffron, Marina Mist, Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Certainly Celery, Whisper White
Accessories:  Owl Punch, Bird Punch (for the branches/leaves), Cloudy Day embossing folder, Fancy Fan embossing folder, Scalloped Oval Punch, Gel Pen
SU! Specials
SU! Clearance Rack

Hoot, hoot!

Good sunny morning friends! From Millan.Net While we have sun now I see we are supposed to be getting some snow today. That's okay...I take the sun for now!  I thought I'd share another new designer card with you today.  I made three different versions...
So this is a precolored digi from Daydream Designs (where my friend Kris has her digital designs).  The paper is even digital!  I love how it all matches so perfectly!  The little hoot, hoot, just makes me smile too!
I thought my online friends might like to see a picture of Kyler.  This one is post op at the hotel.  You can see the brace he has on...he'll be wearing that for about 6 weeks.  Kyler is such a trooper and is doing really well.  His pain is very well controlled and today he'll start putting weight on that knee and do some of the PT stretching exercises.  Overall...he's doing great!  Thank you for all your prayers and good thought through this!

Something of my own to share--

Good Monday morning friends!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  I was pretty stinking productive personally and I love that!

Some of you may know I started a new business with Origami Owl.  What is Origami Owl?  Living Lockets are an extension of you - because each and every one is custom designed to tell a story of your life + of what's important to you. We believe there's something truly special about a treasured piece of jewelry that tells your story in a way that only you can!  My business has taken off like hotcakes (well, I guess they wouldn't take off anywhere would they...lol!) and I have added one person to my team with a potential three more coming on this week (there is a short wait list as the company is growing so quickly).
I decided that since I'm a card maker I should probably make a card for the new designers coming onto my team.  Here is one of them I made.  This features the SU! Owl Punch and some papers from the Quirky Owl Doodle Pantry set.  I gotta tell ya I think that owl is super cute with those googly eyes!
Please feel free to leave a comment about questions you may have about Origami Owl, if any.  I'm happy to help!  And now...I'm off to start my day!  Have a great Monday all!

Oh, Hello

Good Friday morning friends!I hope you've had a good week!  Mines but good bu busy...that is how life works, isn't it?  This card is another card from the Spring Mini swap I was in.  This uses many of the wonderful new products!
This card features the super cute and well loved (already) set called Oh, Hello.  I see this set used a lot and haven't quite come to loving it like the others but I can certainly appreciate it!  It also features the new Ovals Collection Framelits Dies.  I thought, at first, the top elements were cut with Framelits but they are not.  Check out the Framelits link above to see how she make that top left chevron.  Very, nice!  Speaking of she this card was made by Cindy Gibson.  Oh, look!  They have a bundle of the Oh, Hello and Framelits!  Nice!

Okay, just so you know I may not be around much next week.  My Kyler is having knee surgery so I'll be focusing my attention on him.  On the other hand when he's sleeping or just sitting I may have more time so we shall see.  Prayers for his surgery and travel would be great!
