Military Retirement

Good morning all! I'm back for day two. Not sure I'll be back tomorrow...depends on what I get done today!
A friend of mine asked me to make a card for them to give to her husband's former commander.  I wasn't sure what I wanted to make so I just Googled military retirement card and clicked on images to take a look around.  When I saw this I knew I had to make one so...yes, this is an almost completely CASE'd card but I think it is great none the less so I thought I'd share.  All the stamps are from PaperTrey Ink and the papers are all from a Taylored Expressions 4th of July pack a year or two ago.  I kid you not...I had to re-stamp the sentiment on this card SIX times before it was straight enough for me to be happy with it.

I have some notebooks that I made for my teammates for the Origami Owl National Convention that I leave for on Thursday that I'd like to share with you guys but I have to see if I have time to photograph them first.  We shall see.  I may just take photos with my phone and be good with that.

Okay, gotta get my day started!  Have a wonderful one all!

I'm Back!

I bet you all thought I abandoned my blog, huh? Well, not really. Life just gets in the way sometimes.

I love that I've had the occasion to do some creating recently. Today I'm going to share the card I made for my hubby for the 4th of July. I don't normally make him a 4th of July card but I was struck at how different the 4th 'looks' to me know and wanted to tell him why and how much I appreciate him.

This card is 100% digital...no hand stamping and it is all from my friend, Kris's store at Imagine That! www.imaginethatdigistamp.com Lots and lots of fun stuff there!

I'm also posting this from my phone for the first time so if it looks bad please forgive me...I'll figure it out soon!

That said...I'll leave you with that for today. Make your Monday a fantastic one!
