An Easter Treat For You - -

I'm baaacckkk... and yes, I've been making little treat pouches again!  These will go to friend/family that live away which means they need to go in the mail Monday (and I'll pray they get there on time!). I'm also making about 10 more for a couple of people that would like them for their grandchildren...FUN!!
Remember that cute little leprechaun I made a few weeks back?  Well...this bunny cutting file (from SVG Cutting Files) was in with that one and I thought it would be adorable to make and send and...I was correct, it is adorable!  The sentiment stamp is from Jaded Blossoms, Easter Treats 2 set (love that set!) and is perfect for this use! I us AC Cardstock for all my cutting bases (almost all) and they patterned paper this time is from SU!.

I have lots more to be making...another fun birthday card, birthday decorations for my grandson's 1st birthday, and lots more so please feel free to follow my blog and check in regularly!

hello, there!

Good morning!  I hope you are having a wonderful week!  I don't think I've said here that I have a senior that I "angel" which just means that I send her something weekly...a card, a little gift, whatever.  I've been off on my sending recently so I decided that I will make something each week to send to her the following week, that way I'm crafting and sending her fun cards and 'things'.  I saw this cute sun file over at SVG Cutting Files and just had to have it.  I thought it would be great to make a card for my senior so I went to work and here is the resulting card...
So cute, right?  Who wouldn't like getting this card in the mail?  The sentiment I used on this card is from The Stamps of Life set Hello set.  That set is seriously a set I've been trying to find for a long time.  Lot's of times I want a 'hello' sentiment and just didn't have anything until now.  FUN!!

I saw that Kraftin' Kimmies has an anything goes challenge each month so I think I'll enter this card there.

Okay, I need to go change so I can get to Jazzercise on time!  Have a wonderful day everyone!

BaDonkey Donk...

Once again, I'm in love with the card that I'm sharing today!  I have a couple of early April birthdays (in addition to Easter...eek!) so I thought, for once, I'd get a jump on them and I'm so glad I did!  Jaded Blossom had an AWESOME stamp release this month with so much birthday fun so I had to use some of my new stamps to make a fun card.  I used the new Party Animal sentiment set with the BaDonkey Donk SVG file from SVG Cutting Files along with a couple of dies from the new Birthday Dies (from Jaded Blossom) to make the first card.  It is SO cute isn't it?

Yep, this guy is stepping out on the hot red dance floor with his party hat and balloons to celebrate a birthday!  Not shown here is a custom envelope for the card since it is 5"x7" in size...a bit bigger than I usually make.  Inside will probably contain a gift card as well as a personal message.

I'm super excited to be able to submit this for the SVG Cutting Files monthly challenge which, for this month, is a birthday theme!

Okay, that is it for today.  I'll see you again soon!

Hey Gnomie!

Good Monday morning!  I hope your weekend was wonderful and you got all accomplished that you set out to!  As you saw yesterday I had some time in my craft room and I actually got two cards made...yesterdays card and this one today.  I have always loved gnome stamps (they are so cute aren't they?) but have never had any so when Jaded Blossom released a cute Gnome stamp with lots of great sentiments I just had to jump in and purchase it!

The layout of this card is based very loosely on a deconstructed sketch from a few weeks ago.  I think it works though and I love how it turned out.  More fun, bright papers for the gnomie.  For the sentiment I used Jaded Blossom's Mini Tag Dies 2...can I just say I love this set of dies?  There are several shapes and the sizes are just perfect for how I create cards.  I've been looking for a set of tag dies like this set for awhile!

Well, that is it for me!  I hope you all have a wonderful day!  I'll see you back here soon as I'll be sharing some photos from an outing that my hubby and I went on recently.  Smiley from Millan.Net

Keep your balance...

I had a little creating time this cloudy and rainy Sunday so I decided to play with a new stamp/die set from The Stamps Of Life called bicycle2stamp and use the Sweet Sunday Sketch for this week.  What a great combination these two ended up being!!  A friend was recently diagnosed with breast cancer so I wanted to make her a card.  I believe I would be feeling off balance in life so I thought this sentiment would work well.

I put a little basket with just a couple of flowers in it inside the card.  I also used some pearls for the center of the flowers...I really like the 'pretty' that it adds.  I used papers from a TE kit that I've had forever and honestly, it makes it so much easier to match everything all up!

I hope you love this as much as I do!  Have a wonderful day!

Luck 'O The Irish

Can you tell I'm really loving making these treat holders?  Well, I am!  With St. Patrick's Day coming up I thought I'd make a few of these to send out to my out of state kids so I have to get them in the mail soon!  The file is from SVG Cutting Files and includes other spring characters as well as this Leprechaun.

It took me several days to get them done due to other priorities but really these are so easy to do.  I use my Cricut Expressions and Sure Cuts A Lot (an older version) to cut my pieces then embellish and put them together.  SO FUN!!  I'm also entering this in SVG Cutting Files March Challenge

Happy Easter Chicks!

Well, it is the end of the weekend and I got a chance to create today...how about you?  I've had this card in my head for a couple of days...it is a combination of a card I saw on my friend, Patti J's blog, and on the Digi My World blog.  Together I think it made a super cute card...what do you think?

This card was made with quite the combination of things and challenges in mind.  First I used the Spring Chicks image from Digi My World that I won this last week.  I just sized it how I wanted, printed on  cardstock, cut it out and paper pieced on the chicks...fun, right?  I was also thinking about the Dazzling Diva Challenge when I added the swirls from an embossing folder on the chicks.  Their challenge is to have something embossed, distress, weathered (you get the idea!).  And finally the Jaded Blossom challenge for March is Easter so the "Happy Easter" sentiment is from their Easter Treats 2 set and fit perfectly in the cloud dies!  I'm so thrilled with the way this turned out (even if those are some huge chicks for that little fence...lol!)!

I hope you have a fabulous week!
