Bonfires Kinda Freak Me out!

Hello friends!  It is Tuesday and I'm back to show you a fun and quirky birthday card that I made with a couple of fabulous Great Impressions stamps!  

You know how...every now and then you make a card that just makes you giggle?  Well, for me, this is one of those cards!  I'm from Wisconsin so the cow is totally hilarious and the implications that even the cow is a bit afraid of those candles is just too, too funny!  For this card I used Holy Cow E828 and Freak Me Out! E887.  The Freak Me Out! sentiment is actually one piece but I can see myself using it as two separate sentiments so I just cut it apart.  I've used some SU! paper and a card sketch from SVG Cutting Files for the layout. 

Can you see how this card made me giggle, a lot?!?  Well, I hope you enjoyed this fun card and it gave you some inspiration!

Good times in the sun...

Happy Monday all!  I hope you had a fabulous weekend!  I got to do some newborn holding this last week of both my new granddaughter and a friends new little boy.  Ahhh...that is so wonderful!

Today I'm here to share my last project with you for my month of being the Guest Designer with Jaded Blossom.  It sure has been fun creating for JB this month and I want to thank Candace, Michelle, and Jamie for being so patient with me this month!  Onto my project:

I have a friend that is headed to Hawaii this week and she is taking her two oldest grandchildren with her so I thought I'd make her a fun little vacation card.  The papers I used an old SU! Simply Scrappin' kit and for the fabulous stamps and images I used the following Jaded Blossom products:  the stamp set Aloha and the sun is actually part of a sun that I made for another card with the Spring Dies 2 set and the new Spring Splatters stamp set.  I also used card sketch 23 from SVG Cutting Files for my card layout.

Inside I used several of the other sentiments from the Aloha set because I couldn't decide on just one because really...you do it all on vacation in Hawaii, right?

I decided to make another fun clean and simple project with the new Hey Chickie set.  I really love that we are provided with the SVG for most of the images that Jaded Blossom has...it makes creating so easy and specific!   I love to make cards for my hubby and his favorite color is yellow so when I saw this sketch from Case This Sketch I knew it would make a perfect card for my hubby especially with this paper!

Jaded Blossom February Release Day!

Here's what I created

 I just adore the Butterfly stamps set and thought it would be pretty on a gift bag so I found this beautiful patterned paper, stamped the butterfly in coordinating colors and then popped the butterfly on a wobble before putting it on the bag....yes, this butterfly moves when you move the side!  I thought I'd try and get a photo of the wobble for you as well.  You can't really see it very well but you get the idea of how far off the bag the butterfly sits.  The sentiment is from Easter Treats 2.  And I used a Dimensional Banner Die.

Next up I'd like to show you the set of 3x3 cards I made with the our freebie set, Spring Silhouettes:

 

 

 

Those were super fun and fast to make and now I'm all set for when I need a little card for a gift.  Love that convenience!  Additional Jaded Blossom products I used on the 3x3 cards is the Scalloped Circle Dies.

Day 4 Jaded Blossom Release

Welcome back to day four of the Jaded Blossom February release!  What an adorable stamp set Hey Chickie is, huh?  Today I decided to go with clean and simple for this card.  I just thought this super cute chickie would make a fun spring birthday card.

 I've used several Jaded Blossom products in addition to Hey Chickie...Stitched Circle Dies, Scalloped Circle Dies, and Dimensional Banners. 

Inside is a sentiment that just about everyone I know would love to receive in their birthday card...you can relate, yes?  :)

Above is the super cute set in full.  Seriously, can't you think of so many fun ways to use this set?  Well, tomorrow is the last day of releases and the hop will be in the afternoon.  I hope to see you back then!

Day 3 Jaded Blossom Release

Here we are at Day 3 of the Jaded Blossom February release!  Today's peek is so much fun!  Both Spring Panels and Spring Signs 2 are just such fun sets!

 I started out with a rectangle tube, added some fun patterned paper to the front of the tube and then used the cute chickies from Spring Panels for the main image.  Can you see that the girl chick went and got her hair all decked out?  Yep, she has pink highlights and an adorable little bow from the Bow Dies set.  The little sentiment is from the Spring Signs 2 set and, once again, I've added a bow at the top from the Bow Dies set. 

I've put three pieces of candy and a little bit of tissue paper that will hold some charms for a friend's locket.  I hope you've enjoyed my project today!  See you tomorrow!

Day 2 Jaded Blossom Release

Here we are back for Day #2 of the Jaded Blossom February Release!  Two more awesome sets are being introduced today and I put them together on one card.  You'll also notice that the Bow Die is back today, too!

On the outside of the card I've used a lot of Jaded Blossom including both of the new stamp sets, Funny Bunny and Spring Splatters (this set was used on my sun) and check out that Bow Die again!  In addition to the new sets I've used the Spring Die Set and Spring Dies 2. 

Inside I used a complimentary piece of patterned paper cut with the Label Die and then stamped with a sentiment from Funny Bunny.

Another year older?

Hi friends, it's Tuesday so that means I'm here to share with you some inspiration using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Following our challenge theme for the month of celebrations I'm sharing another birthday card that I think is just so, so fun!  Check it out:

I've used two fun stamps on the outside F623 Sheepdog and It's Your Birthday C458.  I love the colors I've used for this card...red, yellow, and grey so manly right?  I hope so as it is for a guy!

On the inside of the card I stamped the D514 Another Year stamp - - so fun, right?  I added a fun little star as well.  This card just makes me smile and I hope it makes you smile too!

Day 1 Jaded Blossom Release

Welcome to Day 1 of the February Jaded Blossom Release!  I'm super excited that we are showing off the newest die set called Bow Dies and a fabulous stamp set called Special Packaging.  

Eek, are you ready?  I so love my project...okay...

 When I first saw the Special Packaging I just knew I had the PERFECT project for the set!  Just after Christmas this candle and the topper were on clearance (gotta love that) so I snatched it up just because I love the song.  You can see how making a tag with Special Packaging and the Bow Dies would be perfect!  I've also used the Luggage Dies to make my tag. 

How fun is that?!  Such a stinkin' cute stamp set absolutely wonderful for just about anything that you want to make just a touch more special and that die...is it not FABULOUS?!?  It is a dream to work with too!
