It's their anniversary!

Happy Thursday Friends!  I'm back today to show you the (if I say so myself) AWESOME Anniversary card I made for my oldest son and his wife for their 4th wedding anniversary today.  This took me several hours to do but I think it is SO worth it!
To start off the outside looks like a regular card.  I used a SU! sentiment stamp with MME Paper called Union Square (it's a couple of years old), I added a fun wooden arrow to point out the most important thing in marriage..love big!  The hearts are just punched out of some more of the MME paper.  On the front I've used the I {heart} Sketches summer sketch.
Now when you open it is when you start seeing there is something different about this beauty.  Though you cannot tell in the above photo the four different pieces of cardstock are actually four panels.  I didn't add any extra journalling or sentiment on these panels as I like them as is.  Everything is sponged with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
And finally when you pull those panels or coupons to the right you see the entire inside of the card.  On the left hand side is a place to write a note to my son and DIL and above a photo from their wedding as a reminder of the day and on the right hand side are the coupons.  I used Jaded Blossom's Alphabet Dies for the larger words.  I think you can see what they each say but I'll break it down for ya...

#happy
dinner at Pasta Company (a restaurant in town)
4 hours of childcare
and the last one is a stamp that says 'once in a lifetime you meet someone who changes everything

Yes, this does fit into a regular envelope, snugly, but it fits and I don't have to mail it so I'm good with that!  I found the tutorial for this on Splitcoaststampers...it is called a Coupon Card.  The only problem with this card?  Exactly how am I going to beat it next year?  Actually...I already have an idea!  :)

I'm going to enter this in the following challenges:

Craft Your Passion:  Anything Goes
Crafting When I Can Challenge:  Any Occasion
Jo's Scrap Shack:  Anything Goes
Brown Sugar Challenge Blog:  Anything Goes

And that is it for today!  Have a wonderful day friends!

Great Impressions Stamps

Morning friends!  Today is a bitter sweet day for me as it is my last post as a design team member with Great Impressions Stamps.  I've truly enjoyed working with their fabulous rubber stamps!  Today I share another blast from the past of a liquid sort...
This is the bottle tag (the wine tag die is from Jaded Blossom) that I made for the Cut Cardstock Challenge.  I really love this tag...it's so fun and cute! The Great Impressions Stamps I've used on this project are:  F323 Fashion Swirls and E880 Sparkle Seriously, who doesn't like the bubble of a Moscato d' Asti wine?

I'd like to thank Mynn the design team coordinator for Great Impressions Stamps, Deone the owner of GIS and my design team sisters.  It's been fun...thanks so much for having me!

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Do You Know How Loved You Are?

Hello!  Today I'm back to share with you a card that I made for one of my husband's co-workers.  He and his wife just had their first baby...a boy named Gabriel.  Of course I had to make a card so here you go...
I thought I'd start off by show you the back of my shaker circle.  I've used acetate and then just cut pieces of foam tape (from my HUGE roll) then I attached the pre-colored image from Imagine That Digistamp.

Here is the finished outside of the card.  I've used the pre-colored image from Sweet Dreams Sheep Set and Counting Sheep Digi Papers.  I've added twine, a star die cut, and of course the fun sequins to pump up the adorable factor!  The circle and star dies are from Jaded Blossom.
Inside I've spelled the baby's name out with the Baby Blocks set and used a sentiment from the Sweet Dreams Sheep set referenced above.  I just brought the images into Word and then sized them and moved them around to accomplish having them together.

Okay, I hope you love this card as much as I do and that you'll hope on over to the Imagine That Digistamps store and blog to check out more!  Please note that I'm a member of the Imagine That Digistamps Facebook DT and I show the Facebook group my creations first so please come on over and join us there!

Thanks for stopping by...I'll see you soon!

A Look Back...

Good Tuesday morning friends!  My term with the Great Impressions Stamps design team will be finished at the end of June so I thought it would be fun to share a couple of my favorite cards that I've made during my time using these fun stamps so today I'm sharing the card I made for our May Challenge which was blinged birthday...
I've used E840 Friendship Bees and C467 Treat Yourself for this card. And I added bling to the bees wings as well as with the jewels on the card.

Well, that is what I have to share with you today though I hope you'll stop back next week to join me for my last post as a design team member with Great Impressions Stamps!

Thank you for stopping by and make sure you hop on over to the Great Impressions blog to check out and play along with our current challenge!

Sweet and Grateful

Good morning friends!  Here I am back for my Great Impressions Stamps post for the week.  This super sweet image is called F635 Dog and Cat Eating Watermelon.  I made this card to be super fun, bright, and cheerful so I used bright colors and, hopefully, made it full of warmth and gratefulness too.
I used a card sketch from SVG Cutting Files to make this card so I just placed my chosen cardstock on my Cameo mat, cut it on my Cameo, cut a couple of more fun elements with some dies and my Big Shot and then put it all together.

Well, that is what I have to share with you today! Thank you for stopping by and make sure you hop on over to the Great Impressions blog to check out and play along with our current challenge!

Flip Flopping Fabulous

Eek, here it is...Tuesday...the Tuesday before graduation and yes I'm still rushing to get things done...isn't that how it always work?  Family starts arriving in town tonight so everything will really start speeding up at this point.  Yet, I feel like I should post this fun card for my Tuesday with Great Impressions Stamps and to share about the June challenge with Great Impressions...Anything Goes!!
For this card I used Floating Flamingo H287 and Flopping D520.  I used a super fun summer paper pack adding a sun and clouds for that perfect day on the water!

Well, that is what I have to share with you today! Thank you for stopping by and make sure you hop on over to the Great Impressions blog to check out and play along with our current challenge!

Happy Birthday Grandson!

Happy Monday friends!  Can you believe I'm posting on a Monday?  Well...it's because tomorrow is my grandson's 2nd birthday!  Yep...I can hardly believe he's turning two!  He brings us such joy and such a reminder of how full of blessings our lives are.  I thought I'd share with you the card and centerpiece I made for W's birthday.  There is a new banner as well but I don't have a photo of that yet so I'll share that later.
Our grandson loves Paw Patrol so, of course, this nana had to make the card and decorations not only with Paw Patrol but also his favorite PP characters, Chase and Rubble.  Chase is the police pup and Rubble is the construction pup.
For the centerpieces I purchased the PP files on Etsy and just sized, printed them out, laminated them, and attached them to wooden sticks (so they can be played with later!) then stuck them in glasses I got from the Dollar Tree.  Simple, cute, and something, I think, works well for a two year old's party.

Soon I'll be sharing what I made for decorations for my youngest son's graduation from high school.  I think I'm all done making decorations...okay, I'm going to call it good for the decorations because, frankly,  I want to enjoy this time too...no more stressing...high school is almost over for all of us!  Woohoo!

Okay, friends...stop back by tomorrow for my Great Impressions Stamps post!

We have a graduate this year!

Hey look...it's Friday and I'm back to share another card with you today...woohoo!  As you know I'm in the thick of things as far as getting crafty goodness ready for high school graduation at our house.  One of those things is, of course, making the graduate a card.  I've already made a couple but I knew they weren't for my son but this card...this one may be the one.  Check it out!
Crazy cute, right?  I've used the following Imagine That! by Kris sets: Graduation Day Value Set 1 and Congrats Grad 2 Digi Papers.  I've also used the sketch from Monday's Mojo Monday Sketch which is a tall and skinny challenge (I love tall and skinny cards!).  This one is 3 1/2" x 6".  Of course you see the twine that I added which is from Trendy Twine and some fun graduation dimensional stickers that my mom picked up for me.  I think I'll also add this to the challenge at A Bit More Time To Craft - Anything Goes, the Make My Monday Challenge - Graduation, and  Crafting When I Can - Add Stars.

And that is what I have to share with you this Friday!  I'm furiously working on decorations both for the graduation party on the 10th and my grandson's birthday party on the 9th so you'll see more non-card projects soon!

Have a wonderful weekend all!
