Tuesday morning I got an e-mail from the church office telling me that one of the ladies that attends the study, Nancy, wouldn't be there that evening as she was sick and didn't have the strength to come (plus she didn't want us to get sick). I thought hmmm...since I needed to get my BVC08 piece done I would just make it with Nancy in mind and the group could send her a little get well card. Having had Nancy in Sunday school class last year I knew that I wanted to use the PaperTrey Ink set called Everyday Blessings. I pulled it out, looked at the verses that came with it, and decided on the one that you see on the right. I think it is perfect for a get well card. I also tried to add some additional color to this card but honestly...I think the monochromatic look of this card is perfect...very soothing. Anyway, I hope that she liked it as she should have gotten it yesterday. Oh, I forgot to tell you that it is a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 card.On a personal note, my dad called last night to let me know that my grandfather (to whom I'm very close) who went for a cath test was admitted to the hospital. First, he started bleeding during the test and they couldn't stop it right away and then, he will have to have a quadruple bypass. Two arteries are 99% blocked and two are 76% blocked. My grandpa did call but I was at church so I didn't get to talk with him myself.
TGIF! Have a great day!
