I got the official text from Jon that he arrived to Alaska at 4:23 a.m.! Praise God!  What an Easter gift, huh?

Gift Girl

Good morning friends!  I  hope you've had a wonderful week.  I know I'm glad to be to Friday!  Today I get to share with you the card I made with Carly's current sketch at Sketches by Carly.  It is a fun sketch with lots of potential...as usual!

We are sponsored this week by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps so I used their super cute Ava's Gift digital Stamp.  I know her colors don't necessarily match but I do know that some little girls don't have to match perfectly when they get dressed either so I went with it!  I just pulled some paper out of my huge stash and went to work with the sketch.  This card feels very home-y to me.

Above is a shot of the inside and the sentiment that I decided to use with this card.  It is from PaperTrey Ink.  An oldie but goodie for sure!

Today is the beginning of a weekend that starts in what look like tragedy, Good Friday, and ends in the most glorious way!  I felt God leading me to fast today (sun up to sun down) so if you think of it say a little prayer for me. 

I hope you have a wonderful Friday!  Kyler's birthday is on Monday so we'll be having his party tomorrow.  It is just a big gathering of his friends to play some football and eat some bacon cheeseburger pizza, as well as celebrating with some yummy Snicker's cupcakes.  It should be lots of fun for him!

It's A Luau!

Okay, don't fall off your chair! I'm back posting again today! I have another page for our Hawaii album that I want to share.  This one is made with the Tropical Easter kit again.  You will probably never see the Easter portion of that kit but I can tell you I'm enjoying the tropical portion!

This page layout is from the Let's Get Sketchy challenge for this week.  I just adore the layout and my page.  As the page says after we got checked in our hotel and settled a bit a luau at the hotel was the first thing we did.  It was a bit silly but it was fun none the less.  We sat at a table of mostly older people and had wonderful conversation with them.  We were so blessed to be able to go on that trip!

Easter Turtle?

Good morning! I hope your week is going just wonderful! When I went to send out Easter cards this year I realized that I was short one so I whipped up this cutie real quick.

I know...what do turtles and pansies have to do with each other other than being super cute?  Nothing but they are super cute!  The image and the papers are from Doodle Pantry and the sentiment from a*muse.  I used this week's Sweet Stop sketch for the card and I'm putting it in the Doodle Pantry digital challenge for this month.  

I do have two more days worth of stuff to share with you so I'll be back tomorrow! 

Tropical Easter

Good morning all! Just stopping in this morning to show you a couple of pages I did with a fantastic new kit from A-Manda Creation called Tropical Easter.  I'm sure you are thinking...Easter?  Yep, the kit has fantastic, fun Easter elements in it but I used the tropical elements to make the first of my pages from our trip to Hawaii a couple of years ago. 

I had a lot of fun creating my little scenes on my pages with the elements.  I'm looking forward to using this kit more as I get into more Hawaii photos.  First, though, I have to find them all.  I went to my folder and it doesn't look like they are all there soo...a search has got to happen first.
