Merci

Good morning! How is everyone today? Are you buried under snow? We are not and are not supposed to get a whole bunch of snow but some. The areas around us though...tons! The pass is already closed for avalanche control so you know it is bad!
Just a quick little card share with ya this morning.  This sweet little owl is Quirky Owl by Doodle Pantry.  There is just something that draws me to this owl...not sure what it is though.  I needed to make some thank you cards so I actually made 6 of these cards.  The patterned papers are what comes with the set and I just used a Cuttlebug folder to make the white panel.  This layout is a mixture of a couple of different older sketches.  I started with one and decided I didn't like it so it turned into this.  I'm going to enter this into the Shopping Our Stash challenge which is to use a border punch.  I love my scallop border punch!

Well, I hope you all have a fantastic day!  Today is my afternoon of shuttling kids to the pool for PE lessons.  It is always interesting to hear what the kids say...if they say anything at all.  Smiley from millan.net I gotta tell ya though...I really enjoy the time with the kids!

Thought of the day:  It always seems impossible until it is done.

Oh goodness Lorie, this is so funny! I just looked at that owl last night and thought about printing it out to color. Great choice!! What a fun texture plate behind the owl. Great layout!

This card turned out great, Lorie! Love how you used the embossing folder on the background.

No snow here in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I'm thinking it's going to skip us this year!

Darling card Lorie. Love the owl. Yesterday we had nasty storms and even had tornado warnings in the area. Very unusual for January and chance of snow tomorrow. Our weather has been very strange latley. Hope all is well with you!
