Snow Day

Good morning friends! Well we are on the backside of this week...how has your week been? It has been a good week for me, busy but good.  And today is Care Net day so I'll be working out, showing and heading on over to Care Net 'til Kyler is done with school.  Doesn't leave much room for crafting during the day...darn it!
This page is one of my P52 pages.  This last week we have had tons of snow so that is one of the big stories here in town.  Kyler got to play outside and we found that Trixie loves the snow too.  Then when the 8th graders from Kyler's class went to swim lessons I guess there is a tradition that if there is snow on the ground you go make snow angels...in your swimsuit!  Brrr!  There is another page to this book but I'm just sharing this one today because....

Well, did you come back to find out my news?  Okay...today is the day!  Yes, it is design team related.  Well, actually it is Creative Team related.  I am excited to announced that after only about 2 months of digital scrapbooking I have been accepted on my very first Creative Team.  The above page is made with Snow Day by A-Manda Creation...the designer I am going to be working with!  This is wonderful for so many different reason...Amanda's designs are so cute and so my style, with being on a Creative Team I will get many more pages done for my personal album, and you know how it is...if I'm on a CT I will must create...I'm just honored she would have me!  Her blog is here if you want to follow it.

So...get ready to see lots more scrapbooking as well as fun cards!  That is all I have for you today so I'm going to get busy doing other things.  I hope you have an amazing day today!

Thought of the day:  You were given this life because you are strong enough to live it.  With God, you can do anything and fear nothing.

WOOT WOOT!!!!! I'm so excited for you Lorie! You are so brave to try out so soon! However, your work is simply fabulous, whether it be your cards or your pages, so I'm not at all surprised that you were chosen! You will showcase Amanda's products beautifully, and I am looking forward to seeing what you create!!! Congrats dear friend, and hugs!!!

Oh wow, CONGRATS Lorie!! How fun and what a fabulous page! I love that kit with those colors and fun elements *Ü* And I really love the idea of doing a page a week during the year. Maybe if I got some kind of program to make it easier I would enjoy it more and make the time to do it? ;) Anyways... Maddy auditioned to sing the national anthem for the wrestling games yesterday and she got it! YAY MADDY! Would be fun to scrap that if she'd let me take some pics w/o wrecking her nerves ;) Enjoy your snow--it hasn't hit us south of you yet. Phoey, LOL! :)

Congrats, Lorie. I so enjoyed being on my design teams last year but working full time it just got to be too much. I'll definitely try again if I cut back or wuit work. It's wonderful that you are getting this opportunity. My sons' swim team always did a snow picture in their Speedos during the winter. The boys have some great memories from those days! Happy weekend!

Man, I have missed so much. I can't believe I have been out of my craft goodies for so long.
Digital pages may be the way to go for me since most of my images are digital also and I never get them printed anymore. Must check them out...
