The simple made pretty.

I need to post my little stamping project for you guys tonight rather than in the morning. My friend, Angela, and I went to a Beth Moore event this weekend and discovered an amazing singer named Travis Cottrell. Yesterday I downloaded his newest CD from iTunes and made a copy for Angela. Of course, you know I couldn't just give it to her in a plain 'ole CD case so I decided to decorate the inside piece a little. I tried hard to make it more her colors but I just don't work well with Earthy type of colors so I hope that this will be okay. The name of the CD is 'Found'. I couldn't get the stamping of his name straight enough for my standards so I had to leave it off. Here is what I used...Stamp Set: Sweet Shapes and Whimsical Alphabet. Cardstock: Whisper White, Elegant Eggplant. Ink: Elegant Eggplant, Pretty in Pink, Lovely Lilac, and Pixie Pink. Accessories: Clear CD Cover. See, so you can take something that is plain and boring and turn it into something that is pretty and special to not only the person receiving it but also the person giving it.

Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!

Well, 15 years ago I had a beautiful 6 lb 10 oz baby boy that we named Jon. What a cutie he was! WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED?! I hope you all know me well enough to know that I'm totally just kidding. I really love having teenagers. I enjoy his enthusiasm, his willingness to try new things, his love for God, his sweet personality, his sense of humor, and of course...I believe he is the cutest thing! His latest love is Golf so I wonder what he'll be getting? So...this is a shout out for Jon...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Last night, after finishing my swaps, I made a card with Doodle This from the Spring Mini. If you are in my stamp circle and haven't received your copy yet...please let me know! Anyway, I combined Doodle This with Rebecca designer paper and this is what I came up with. You'll see that they layout is very similar to yesterday's card as it is what I tend to do with larger images. I also used the Linen BG stamp and then stamped the flower over that for the background. I used the Level 1 hostess set, Riveting, for the Thanks So Much sentiment. I thought it would provide good contrast with the large square. I cut the ribbon a bit shorter after I took the picture though and it looks much better. The cardstock colors are just Regal Rose, Whisper White, and Sahara Sand. Rose colored gingham rounds out the card. The picture really doesn't do this card just...it is very nice in real life.

Today, I'm off to Costco. Costco trips at my house are a big deal as we only go about every 6 weeks and spend a bundle while we are there. This week shouldn't be so bad though because I don't have as much as normal to get.

I hope you all have a terrific Tuesday!

Long Notes Birthday

Jon's birthday is tomorrow so I made this card with that in mind. I'm not sure if it is guy enough or not though so I may, or may not, try again later. Sorry about the blurred image. I really dislike my camera...with it did a better job! The striped paper is from the Dots and Daises designer paper that is in the Spring Mini. I used a Cool Caribbean Long Note (also from the Spring Mini), Taken with Teal, Old Olive, and Whisper White cardstock. I used Taken with Teal, Old Olive, and Stazon Black ink. No ribbons or girlie stuff allowed on this son's card! This layout is very loosely based on the sketch challenge for the week on SCS.

Today I just have a few last details to get done on my swap cards and then they can go in the mail. Hopefully they wont get to the hostess late. They are due by the first so I'll probably have to mail them priority. Why, oh, why do I wait so long to start them?

Have a great stampin' Monday everyone!

Ribbon!

I just have one question girls...who does not like ribbon? I LOVE ribbon and because of that I got myself into a ribbon share that Jody hosted. It was so much fun to get the box and open it up with all the beautiful colored ribbon. I got two shares of her ribbon. One solid and one striped. FUN stuff! I do believe that every single color I now have matches something SU! Jody currently has a polka dot ribbon share going on...go check it out!

Today, after church, I'll be doing my swaps up so I can get them in the mail tomorrow. I'll also be making a couple of cards just for you guys so stay on the look out!

Have a super Sunday!

Awwww...

I love baby stamp sets. They are always so cute with the baby sized images that they have. Well, the Spring Mini has the CUTEST set. It is called Bundle of Joy. It is great for making congratulation cards as well as for making announcement cards. Also in the Spring Mini you will find something called Long Notes. Long Notes are 6 5/8" X 3 1/4" cards in Cool Caribbean, Sahara Sand, and So Saffron. These are really fun and you cannot make this size on your own because you would need a piece of cardstock larger than what SU! sells. They also come with envelopes. All of that...just to show you a quick card I made with the set. I wanted it to be really simple, but cute looking. I think I managed that task!

Hey you guys...I only got one positive response to being a guest stamper on my blog. You don't have to have your own blog. Just the ability to send me a JPEG image through e-mail. I'll take the rest from there. I'm thrilled Kendra agreed to do it because I know you all will LOVE her work and she is the nicest person! All you have to do is leave a comment...easy schmesy!

Tonight...I'm off to church to run a VeggieTales Family Fun Night. We will be playing games, doing a little art, watching the movie Moe and the Big Exit, and of course having some snacks! I have about 20 people, children, adults and four youth helpers coming. If you are reading this and wanna come I'd love to see you there!

Also, on the VeggieTales front...a special!! Book and hold a qualifying home show, catalog show, or e-show and receive an additional VT CD ($10.98 or less please) of your choice! This is in addition to the already great hostesses benefits that you will get from VTM! You can go to my VTM website HERE to check it all out. This offer is good from today until Easter. Please keep in mind that VeggieTales gifts made great Easter Basket stuffers. Easter is April 8th this year!

Well, I may not post tomorrow as I am going to a Beth Moore event at a local church. That combined with my want to sleep in a little in the morning may make it so I don't have time. I hope you have a great stamping day!

Happy Friday!

I can't believe it!

Just goes to show you have the weather can change on a dime...it snowed here last night! We went from having basically no snow to have enough to have to shovel again! Arrgh! Jon is going to hate that!

ANNOUNCEMENT
Would you like to be a featured artist on my blog? I'm going to start have a guest stamper each Sunday. The cool part is that anyone can be that guest stamper and you don't have to have a blog! If you'd like to be featured on a Sunday just post a comment over the next couple of days telling me that and I will put you on a list and just pick one at random from that list. Won't it be neato to see your work on my blog? FUN!!!

Okay, onto the artwork for the day. I made another criss cross card last night. I've been thinking about it since I made the first one a couple of days ago. I made this one for the tag we play on one of my yahoo groups...so if you are part of the SUAngels group this could be going to you! The stamps and the designer paper are from the Spring Mini which will be available March 1st. My stamp club group should be getting theirs shortly (even though I still don't have mine!). If you'd like a copy either e-mail me and let me know or just go online March 1st and take a peek! So, the paper is: Petals & Paisley Designer Paper, Rose Red, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, and Whisper White. Ink: Matches the cardstock. Accessories: Ribbon Originals Sweet Shop, Ribbon Originals Flirty Ribbon (still available 'til the end of February!), and a brad. I just love the spring feel this card has. I left the inside card blank for the sender to be able to write what they would like. These are soooo easy ladies...try one!

I'm going into work today to get ready for the VeggieTales Family Fun Night that I'm hosting on Friday night. Lots of fun! I also have to put together some information for Sunday School and that is a little more time consumer so I thought that maybe I could be more productive there. Also, if you came to my Pampered Chef party a couple of weeks ago please know that the orders are here, packed up and ready to have custody transferred to you! If I don't get a hold of you first please contact me and let me know what works best for you!

Have a great Thursday!

A Delightful Box

Good morning everyone! I'm excited to show you the project I made last night. I belong to a couple of yahoo groups and one of them, Karen's, lists a Sunday Stamp Camp Project. It is posted to help us with new ideas for stamp camp and workshops. I've never made anything that was posted before but I've kept every idea that Karen has posted. Well, I'm so happy that I made this box! It is really easy, doesn't take much time at all, and so cute! This first picture is a close up of the box top. I realized after I made the box I should have made the bottom a different color but...oh, well! I love the way the solid color drapes on the printed paper!

The top was made with a 12x12 piece of designer paper from the Sell A Bration (SAB) Simply Scrappin' Kit, Just Delightful. I had plenty left over for another project. ALL of the papers and embellishments are from Just Delightful. The stamping is from the coordinating SAB set called Delight in Life.

And finally a picture of the box all finished and together. No, it is not floating. It was just easier to get a picture of it up a little higher so I set it on a stamp box!

I'm looking forward to making this with the hostess Simply Scrappin' Kit called Friends & Flowers, as well!

So, I hope you like this box. I do believe when I do my Mother's Day Stamp Camp that we will be making a box like this!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Criss Cross Applesauce

I'm so excited about this card! I have always wanted to try a criss cross card...they look so neat. I also knew that I'm not really very talented in the cutting department and that I would ruin lots of paper trying to get it right. If nothing else...I know myself well! This weeks Technique Lovers Challenge (TLC) on SCS is the Criss Cross Card. I figured this would be a great way for me to learn how to make them. I did, indeed, ruin some paper before I figured out the correct way to cut it but once I did *insert smack in the head smiley here*. They really are very easy! You can let your creativity shine with these. So here is what I used. Stamp set: Because of You. Cardstock: Rose Red, Certainly Celery, Apricot Appeal, Close to Cocoa, and Shimmery White. Ink: All the Same as the cardstock. Accessories: Brads, Sweet Shop Ribbon Originals, Apricot Grosgrain. I wanted to use some glitter on the flowers and the ladybug but I think the shimmery white is enough. I'm just thrilled with how this came together. I think the outside of the card looks like a tuxedo...silly, huh? So, this is it...this is the swap card. I hope they all like it (and I hope I have enough of the Sweet Shop ribbon for all the swap cards!).

Have a terrific Tuesday all!

1st Try!

Here is my first try at the swap card I'm making. I'm using the set Because of You. This is based on my friend, Jennifer's card. The colors are the same and a couple of other things. I do like my first try but I think the white panel is a little too wide and if I make it just a might bit smaller it will balance it out a little. The little ladybug on the flower is something Jennifer did...isn't it a cute idea?! I'll be working on this some more today so that I can have it all done and ready to go. Stamps: Because of You. Carstock: Rose Red, Gable Green, Whisper White. Ink: Stazon Black, Close to Cocoa, Rose Red, Cameo Coral, Barely Banana, Marigold Morning, Gable Green, and Bashful Blue.

So, guess what I finished up yesterday? I finished up and transmitted our taxes. So glad I'm done with that! I'm happy to say we are getting money back...everyone all together now...YAY!!! I know, I know, we should make it so we get that money through out the year and now loan it to the government but we don't, so we are just happy!!! Oh, and did you know you have one extra day to prepare and file your taxes this year? Up, you do. I don't recall why but the IRS extended the deadline by one day...aren't they generous? :0)

I hope you all have a marvelous Monday!

Why Would I Show You This?

Today I'm showing you a pile of trimmed rubber. Because trimmed rubber means new stamp sets and new stamp sets means exciting stamping! Yesterday I got all 19 of my swap cards stamped , put in clear envelopes (I do this to protect them.), and then put in the envelope to be mailed on Tuesday. And, everyone...why is that good? Because that means I'll have neato, new stuff to show you next month! Woohoo!

Today, I have to start planning my next swap card for the Walk Through The Catalog -- the Nature section. I choose the stamp set Because of You. My friend Jennifer did a really cute card with this right after I got it this summer so I may have to just tweak her idea a little and make it my own...please Jennifer?!

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my little goofy post today!

Have a great Sunday!

Guest Artist

Remember yesterday when I said I might have a guest artist? Well, she said yes! Woohoo! I'd like to introduce you to Amber Porter and her blog called Ramblings of a Sassy Stamper! Her blog is relatively new but I'm telling you ladies...you should be checking it daily! I want to show you a cute, cute, cute, card she made with Polka Dots and Paisley from the Spring Mini. She used Rose Red, Chocolate Chip, and Whisper White Cardstock and Inks. The accessories she used are grosgrain ribbon and brads. This fun set is available March 1st!

Also, stay tuned all my VeggieTale Mom lovers...a spring special will be coming soon!

Hope you all enjoyed our guest artist! Have a great Saturday!

Keep It Simple!

Sometimes a simple card is exactly what you need. It's good to know that we can craft a card that looks great but doesn't take forever! I sent this to a friend of mine who is turning 70 today. She definitely lives the saying...live well, laugh often, love much! The set is Spring Gifts...who is ready for spring? ME!!! Cardstock: Mellow Moss, Very Vanilla, Pale Plum. Inks: Mellow Moss, Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Regal Rose. Accessories: Word Window Punch and Organdy Ribbon. That is it! That is all there is to it. Hope you like!

I'm hoping tomorrow to have a guest stamper to feature. She has been doing some of the cutest stuff with the new stamps from the Spring Mini. Can't wait for you all to meet her!

Have a fantastic Friday everyone!

Wow! I told you I was spoiled!

Wow! What a Valentine's Day for me! Remember when I said I was spoiled...well, I am! I have a couple of pictures to share with you of what my boys and my husband got me for Valentine's Day. The picture on the left is what the boys got me. My oldest got me the box of Turtle Candy...Yummy! Jon got me the Bible Book on CD and the angel photo frame. Kyler got me the puppy stuffed animal and the yellow tulips. How cool is that?! Todd got me a message in a bottle. Have you ever seen those. They are so neat! You can either use one of their poems or write one of your own, choose a bottle that you like, and then they print the poem on vellum paper, roll it up and place it inside the bottle for you. So neat! This is actually the third one that I've gotten and each bottle is so unique! The card that I got is one of those music cards! It plays the Shania Twain song...Still The One. I'll admit it...I cried when I opened it!

I thought I'd show you the quick cards that I made for my boys. You will be able to tell the approx. ages of the kids by what is on the card. The younger the boy the more stuff you can add and they don't care! The fish one on the left was for Jon. I told him the fish was me kissy, kissying him. (I know that isn't a word but I used it anyway!) The middle card is for Scott. He's 19 and didn't need anything flashy. And the one on the right is for Kyler. The bee has glitter on the wings and the heart. They were very fun to make!

I hope you made something fun and cute for your honey too!

So that is the extent of this post...wow, it is long! Make sure you check below to see if you won yesterday's blog candy!

Have a rockin' Thursday!

We Have a Winner!

I just want you all to know that my heart was warmed by all of your responses! What wonderful couples you all are!

The winner of the blog candy from Valentine's Day was Pat. Here is what she said...

My honey came home from work this morning (he works 3rd shift, 9:30 pm 'til 6 am) with his arms overflowing with sweet gifts for me. Such a great way to start the morning...a Michael Buble CD, a bouquet of red tulips (my favorite flower), a heart shaped box of chocolates (a girl's best friend) and the most touching card! Great start to a great day. I took him out to lunch and got him an assortment of great kitchen gadgets (he loves to cook!).

Pat

Pat make sure to e-mail me your address so I can get this out for you!

Kiss, Kiss, Smooch, Smooch

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!! I really like Valentine's Day. Even though we should tell the one that we love, how much we love them every day I think it is okay for us to set aside a day and make sure that they know it. With that in mind I'm giving away some Valentine's blog candy. All you have to do is make a comment by midnight tonight about what you and your honey did (or are planning to do) for each other today. Even if you don't celebrate Valentine's Day please just let me know that, too. I'll be sending you this 6x6 Valentine's page (it looks better in real life...I promise!) and some other goodies. Do I hear you saying...but, I'm in your stamp club and I've already made that page? Well, if you are in my stamp club then you will be getting something else just as fantastic that I showed you last night. There is everyone happy now?

Are you one of my VeggieTales Moms customers, too? Well, then to celebrate Christ's love for us I have a Valentine's special for you, too! E-mail me your order by midnight tonight and get 15% off your entire order. There are lots of new items in the store (the link is to the left)
including a very cute pillow book! Go check it out!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!

My winnings arrived!

Remember I told you about the blog candy that I won? Well...it arrived yesterday! No only did it have the Cuddlebug backgrounds that she promised but she added in some paisley and one really cute friend background as well. Don't they look like fun? Can't wait to use them!

If any of you know my husband you all know how good he is at making sure that I know that he loves me. He buys me little gifts (and sometimes big gifts) all the time just 'cuz. It can be what we call *junk* magazines for my bath time or it can be a really beautiful piece of jewelry. At Christmas he did the 12 days of Christmas and I got all sorts of neat handy stuff and one really cute tiara necklace! This weekend I got flowers, a CUTE pink elephant, and some Godiva chocolate. I'm thinking fun Valentine's stuff (even though he had to wait 'cuz his stuff wasn't here yet), right? Well, no. He tells me that the stuff he gave me was just his...hey, I'm home and I love you stuff! This weekend we will actually celebrate Valentine's Day. Anyway, I'm telling you this so you can see the cute stuff he gave me last weekend.

Is that elephant not the cutest thing? And, it is so stinkin' soft...I love it! The heart box has the Godiva chocolates in it...yummy! The roses are white with pink tips...very pretty but I don't think they are going to open, darn it!

So there you have it! Yes, I'm spoiled and I know it AND it's fun!

Hope you all have a fantastic Tuesday!

Another Preview

Good morning! I did some stamping just for fun last night (now aren't I supposed to be finishing for stamp club?) and created this card. It is made with a new set from the Spring Mini called Doodle This (yes, there is a Doodle That set, too.). It is such a simple card but so fun to look at. Stamp Sets: Doodle This and Warm Words. Cardstock: Rose Red, Cameo Coral, and Whisper White. Ink: Rose Red and Cameo Coral. Accessories: Paper Snips and Rose Grosgrain Ribbon. I just love how easy it is to coordinate all of SU!'s products!

I hope you had a fun and relaxing weekend. I have a busy day today but will be fitting in more stamping this afternoon. Hope you get a chance to do the same!

Have a great Monday!

I'm baacckk!!

Did ya miss me?! Nah, I'm just kidding. Sorry for the break yesterday. I did lots of stamping and I do have a card to share with you. This one is made with the Glorious Gifts set which is from SU!'s Spring Mini...yes, the one customers can't order from until March 1st. It is my first try in making the card I'm going to send for a spring mini swap that I'm in. Supplies are...Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, and Very Vanilla Cardstock. Stamps: Glorious Gifts. Ink: Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Mellow Moss, and Stazon Black. Accessories: Window Sheet (transparency) and Gold Brads.

More stamping on the schedule for me. I have some birthday cards to make and then I'm going to try another card for the swap. I also need to make my kiddos Valentine's cards. Hmmm...I think I'm officially behind!

I hope you all have a fun and productive Sunday!

Now there is some fan screaming in the background that you have to get past but it really is a fun video! Enjoy!

Valentine's Day

Good morning! Did you know that Valentine's day is only a week away? I'd love to hear what you and your sweetie are going to do on that fun day. Todd won't be here but I'm sure we'll celebrate on the weekend.

Here is a cute card for Valentine's Day. The stamps are from Gina K. The red background is a Cuttlebug embossing folder called Heart Blocks. I used Basic Black, Real Red, and Whisper White cardstock. I just doodled the bees path. Stickles on the wings make this so cute in real life.

I have a ton of stamping to do over the next few days for stamp club and for my yahoo groups so please understand if I post something short and without a sample over the next few days. I promise I will be back to normal soon!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Wow!

What an exciting mail day yesterday! I got Tagged and RAK'd on the same day! What is an RAK? It is a Random Act of Kindness. I'm on the RAK list on SCS and WeeBeeStampin (Wendy) sent me a card! Wendy's card is the cute elephant. This one totally works for me 'cuz of the super uplifting colors and the elephant. I LOVE elephants! The set is called Wild About You. Isn't that just so cute?!

The other card is a Tag from my Yahoo group. Debby sent this very cheery card to me. It is perfect for me 'cuz it's yellow and honestly, 'cuz it says smile. Todd loves yellow and I send a card with him every Sunday for the following week and this is perfect! Who couldn't smiley when they see it? I'm not sure which set the flower is from. Guess I should get crackin' and get some cards made, huh? I'm happy to say I'll be doing that today! Woohooo!

Oh, I must tell you guys something else really exciting! I won blog candy from Keri's blog called Pink Lemonade! Keri is a fantastically talented stamper and a very nice person to boot! I won some Cuttlebugged backgrounds that she made with her Big Shot. How fun will that be? The coolest part is the backgrounds that she had made I don't have! Yay!

Okay, my blogging friends...I have you have a fantastic day!

Messy Vacuum

Good morning, ladies! I don't typically like to show you cards that aren't made with SU! stamps simply 'cuz...well, it seems just wrong with my being a SU! demo and all BUT I got these stamps from Gina K designs and made this card. I think it is so cute and who didn't have a vacuum like that when growing up? I had one in that color! Anyway, to create the card I used Basic Black, Cool Caribbean, and Whisper White. One of the vacuums is popped up and I also used the Color Spritzer to add a little color to the background. Accessories are grosgrain and ric rac ribbon (winter mini). And I used my Cuttlebug with the D'Vine Swirls embossing folder for the background. The layout is this weeks sketch challenge from SCS...SC109. Go try it out!

One of the groups I'm participate in is going to put out a sketch challenge each Monday. I'm going to ask the list mom if I can use one of her sketches and post it here. Kinda our own sketch challenge. After you guys create your cards I'll choose one to post along with my own within the next couple of days. Whatcha think?

Oh, and I'm having a Pampered Chef party on Friday this week. If you'd like to come or need something (I can't have it sent right to your house!) just let me know!

I hope you all have a great Monday!

I was tagged!

On one of my Yahoo Groups we have the opportunity to to play Tag. We can choose a person to send a card to (there is also different types of tag) and then they in turn send a card to someone else on the tag list. So, I got Tagged by Shana and guess what...somehow she knew, instinctively I think, that I like black and pink together. Isn't it cute?! I love it! This is fun for me 'cuz I've already sent out one Tag and now I get to send another...yay! Happy, happy, joy, joy!!!

So, I will leave you with that warm fuzzy on this wonderful Sunday morning!

GO BEARS!!!

Have a great day!!

Third And Final Day

Morning! Today if the final day for the mailbox project. Today I want to show you the flag and the front of the mailbox. The only place I did not use SU! products was a little in the front of the box. I love the little kissing couple from A Muse Stamps and wanted to use it on the box. Anyway, After putting the velvet ribbon on the edges I used Chocolate Chip and stamped it with stamps from the Love Matters set in the Winter Mini. Oh, yes...be sure to stamp on it BEFORE you attach it to the front! ;) I also used on of the accents in the Accents and Elements tin in the Winter Mini which is the Love Notes piece of paper. I added a little piece of ric rac ribbon, again, from the Winter Mini, after I punched a couple of small holes in the cardstock for the handle. I taped in down on the back. I also used sticky strip to adhere the Chocolate Chip cardstock down. Modgepodge just didn't work for me.

So anyway...here is the finish product!

I hope you enjoyed the journey to the finished mailbox. I think this is a great, easy project for anyone to do! Let me know if you have any questions!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Day Two!

Today is day two in our journey to the final product of the altered mailbox tin. This is the part I had the most fun with...decorating! I used some more paper from the Loves Me designer paper in the Winter mini and some Taken with Teal cardstock to make the 'center' decoration. The little brown strip has the word 'Loves Me Loves Me Not' running through it. I thought it was center but when you look at it...it isn't. Oh, well...I can get past it! On the edges of the front and back I used Taken with Teal velvet ribbon (fun stuff!) from the Flirty Ribbon Originals in the Winter Mini and used sticky tape to attach it. I would suggest decorating your mailbox front flap prior to putting your ribbon on the front.

Tomorrow I will show you the flag and front of the mailbox...my favorite parts!

I want to share with you one of my favorite songs right now. It is a Third Day song called Mountain of God. If you click on it you will go to a YouTube slideshow that features the song. Even in our hardest times...He is always with us! Enjoy!

Have a fantastic Friday!

Yay! It's February

February always means lots of pinks and reds for Valentine's Day. How fun is that?! Okay, I really like pink so it works for me!!! Guess what? We are going to start our 3 day journey with the mailbox today. Last time when I did the frapaccino bottle I did it step by step each day and took pictures. This time...because it was going so smoothly I just took pictures while I did the project and have the finished project right next to me...right now! I'm very excited because I know you guys will like it when you are all done!

Anyway...step one, for me anyhow, was making a template of the mailbox so that I could punch a hole and cut a slit where the flag is. I accomplished that with some parchment paper which I cut to the size of the area I wanted to cover. (Thanks Gwen for that GREAT idea!) After I did that I went ahead a semi-placed it on the mailbox and with a pencil drew around the bottom part of the flag. I didn't get a stellar picture of that but you can see that in the middle of the 1/2" punch is the circle where the middle of the bottom of the flag is. After punching out the whole and slitting the parchment paper from the edge to the circle I placed it on my pre-cut piece of designer paper (use your Centering ruler to measure...it's so much easier!), and use the punch to make your circle and slit.

I wasn't sure what to use to adhere the paper to the box so I used strips of mono along the box then at each end I placed sticky tape. After I had placed the DP on the box I lifted the edges of the paper and stuck the edges down with the sticky tape. Then your designer paper should fit perfectly on your box.

So, here is what the first step looks like.

Tomorrow we will add some paper and accessories to make it look nice and then on Saturday we will finish it up!

Have a thoroughly great Thursday! :0)
