March Paper Pumpkin

Good morning friends! Can you believe we've arrived here at Wednesday already?  Sometimes the weeks fly by and sometimes they don't.  Today's post is a collect of four cards that we made last night at our Paper Pumpkin group meeting last night.  (If you decide to join up will you please chose my name as your demonstrator?  Thank you!)  I really like these kits for how quickly you can put a card together...you just get started and bam!  you are done!  We made one card like the directions in the package and then shook up the other three.  Super fun!

Let me know if you have any questions!  Thanks to those who have left me a comment.  I really appreciate that you are still hanging in with me!

Sunshine

Told ya I'd be back!  Looking at what I have to show you I won't be back every day this week but at least once more1
I am so mad that I took this photo and it was blurry.  I didn't check it before I sent the card off so you are stuck viewing this card all blurry.  I hope you can appreciate the fun bright colors, patterned paper, and the beautiful sentiment.  That sentiment is from the Feel Goods set in the spring catalog (which is good until the end of May so if you need a copy let me know!).  The DSP is in the annual catalog and is called Summer Smooches...now that we are (kinda) out of winter I can definitely see using the bright colors lots more!  Yay!

Okay, Kyler is up so my day is about to officially begin.  Have a wonderful day and enjoy this quote:

A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances, but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes. -Hugh Downs

Owl be here

Hello! Is anyone still out there? I know it is hard to want to keep up with me when I don't blog very often so if you are still there...thank you!

I needed another owl card so I used this cutie Owl image by Sweet n' Sassy stamps.  I love the sentiment although it is a little stalker-ish...lol!  The papers are from the now over SAB catalog but I still love them so I will continue to use them.  Fun button and ribbon, too huh?

Life is just busy with work, PT for Kyler, PEO for me and when I'm not doing those things I'm exercising or sleeping.

I hope you are all doing well!  I will tell you I do have a week's worth of posts for you guys so I hope you'll stop back everyday this week!

Thanks a ton!

Good morning friends! No, I haven't run away or stopped blogging! I have just had to put blogging on the back burner for a little while. Between work, Origami Owl, and re-doing the yearbook for my PEO Chapter (in Publisher...I had no idea Publisher was such a friendly program!) I just haven't had the time to craft or to post anything but here I am today to show you a card I made with the fun Oh, Whale Stamp Set and Sunshine & Sprinkle DSP.
I used a sketch from the Fab Friday challenge blog.  (Gosh it has been a long time since I linked up to a challenge!) It is a pretty straight forward use of the sketch but I just love this card and the fun whale.  I immediately liked the Oh, Whale set in the Spring Catalog but for some reason decided not to get it but my Inking Everything team sisters just have been making the cutest things with it so I had to jump on board and I'm glad I did because I loved using it!  I also used one of the framelits from the Apothecary Framelits set.

So, that PEO yearbook I told you about.  Yeah, it was a 42 page total redo of the yearbook.  I could copy and paste a lot of it from the old yearbook in Word but I had to edit the font size, margins, yeah...you get the idea.  Then just when I thought I was done I went back in to look at something and noticed that I had the page size wrong for some reason.  That means I had to change the page size and go back to redo the pages again...that took an addition 3 hours last night.  Ugh!  It will be edited by three more people so hopefully I haven't made too many more mistakes!  Then it will be off to be printed and ready to hand out to my PEO sisters at the end of the month.  Wondering what PEO is?  Check it out HERE.

Remember, that while I no longer have a SU! website for you to directly order from I can still order for you so let me know if there is anything you'd like!
