Love You Bunches

Good morning friends!  Can you believe we are in July already...almost a week into July already!  I'm here this morning to share with you a card I made for my hubby but it is a secret until our Anniversary trip so don't tell him, k?
So, I've been following MHK Designs, a digital stamp company for awhile now and have even bought some of their images before now but this is the first official card I've made with their digital stamps.  Can I just say...I love the stamps!  They are vintage style and already having shaded areas so if you decide to color them with just one color they look great.  If you want to color with more than one color then you know exactly where to lay down that extra color...very cool and it makes this card look quite impressive wouldn't you say?  This stamp is from the Eat Your Veg! set and the papers are digi papers called Glorious Garden...isn't that set just SO fun?!?  The sentiment and the carrot image are two different images so I just layered the sentiment on top of the carrots for this fun look.

The sketch is from Sketch Saturday for this week.  While searching for some fun elements I came across these gardening chipboard pieces and thought...why not?  I colored them with my Copics to compliment the card and then just glued them on.  I added some white gel pen detailing and some black flat sequins for additional interest.  I think it turned out great!  I'm so pleased with it!

I'll be adding this card to the following challenges:

Lorie, your card is absolutely adorable! I bet your hubby will love his card. I am glad you used your set. I agree with you on how easy they are to use and I love the vingage vibe. You should post it to the MHK Designs challenge...
