What's Cooking? And A Giveaway!

Good morning and welcome to the weekend! I hope you have some time this weekend to just relax a little...maybe craft a little, too!  So today I get to show you something I made with MyMemories Suite that is other than a scrapbook page and I get to give something away!  Ready?
First, a little background.  I've been making a lot of recipes from Skinny Taste.  Gina's recipes are always delish, easy to make, and good for ya too!  Because I print the recipe out from the site I've had to print them more than once so Todd had the idea of making a 3-ring binder up for the recipes.  Welllll...that is a good idea!  So above is the 8 1/2 x 11 page that I put in the outer pouch of the binder.  Gotta have something kinda cute, right?  It was super easy to make and fun to look at so a double bonus there!
Then I decided I would make a menu page.  I wish I would have thought of this one a LONG time ago...when all three boys would ask regularly...what's for dinner?  This was pretty easy to make, too.  The day divider, stitching, always kicks my butt however over all it was easy to do!
And here is a photo of the finished product.  I placed the menu in a document frame and then write on the frame with a dry erase marker (I got a set of three at the dollar tree!).  I really love this project today...do you?

Do you wish you had the software to make this type of project or maybe to work on digital scrapping your life?  Do you know how much I love MMS and would like to try it for yourself?  Welllll...guess what? I get to give away a copy of MyMemories Suite to one of my blog readers!  Yippee! Smiley from millan.net What do you need to do?

1.  Like MyMemories Suite on Facebook.  Why am I making this a requirement?  'Cuz it is such a fantastic page to learn how to use MMS and to show off your amazing work.
2.  Go to MMS, take a look around and then let me know which kit(s) you would really like to have.
3.  And finally, if you are not already a follower of my blog...why not sign up to follow me?  You'll want to know if you win, right?

So, that will give you up to three chances to win.  Please leave a separate comment for each chance you get.  I will leave this give away open for a week so please comment by Feb 11 at 8 pm PT.  I will announce the winner on Sunday next week...February 12th!

Oh, and if you want the software but don't want to wait to see if you win use the code STMMS8 when you check out and you'll get $10 off the software!

Hi Lorie! Happy Weekend! Love your project. Very cute. I am going to have to check out your recipe site. I love healthy recipes and need to move more in that direction. I used to make menus and got away from it. The last few weeks I've started doing it again and I forgot what a stress reliever that is. It's so much easier coming home from work and knowing what's for dinner. I am a follower! Thanks for the inspiration!

I've checked out the kits and I think the one I would use the most, at least right now was In the Kitchen. My daughter is studying culinary arts so this would come in handy I am sure! Have a Super Sunday. Go Giants!

OH MY Goodness... Lorie, you are a GENIUS!! I *NEED* to make one of these menus for my own kids as they always ask what's for dinner too! I never wouldda thought to write on a document frame (is that glass on the front?)

I also am going to check out that site for some good healthy recipes. I seem to get in a rut and need fresh ideas.

I've already "LIKED" MMS on Facebook! *Ü* thanks for a chance to win the program!!
