Good morning friends! I hope you are having a lovely Saturday morning! Sorry for the late post I seem to have found myself a cold the last couple of days so I went to bed early last night and slept in late this morning.Today is The Sweet Stop day. I had fun with this sketch! I got to use a new to me stamp called Breakfast Leslie from Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps. Super fun to color and paper piece! The patterned paper is from the Early Bird Mini Deck by Cosmo Cricket. And, of course, the fabulous layout is from The Sweet Stop!
I also went ahead and decorated the inside a little. I had bought the digital elements pack for the Early Bird mini deck from Jessica Sprague's website so I picked out this fun little strip and sized it to work for my card. I just love the little uumph it gives the inside!As you all know tomorrow in the 10th anniversary of 9-11. Just typing that brings tears to my eyes. There good and bad that has resulted from that day and I am brought even closer to that day remembering my husband's deployment to Iraq in 2005/2006 and my Jon being deployed to Afghanistan right now. Both of those deployments are born out of those attacks. I'm not sure what or if I'll post anything tomorrow as I'm not sure how I feel about it. Such mixed feelings...pride, anger...yeah, you get the idea. I'm sure many of you feel the same way. But for now, I'm going to stay on this day and enjoy it for what it is!

Finally I wish to echo Wendy's sentiments...thank you and your loved ones for your service to our country! We owe so much to so many who have made sacrifices to ensure our safety and protect our freedoms!
