The Sweet Stop

Good Saturday morning all! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far! Last night was nice around here as Todd and I got to go see Courageous and it was great!  I highly recommend you go see it!

Onto today's The Sweet Stop sketch.  If you remember we are doing a flash back month for our sketches so today's sketch is actually sketch #37.

I had this cute MFT stamp out from another try at stamping so I thought...why not, I'll use this image and I made my first (although it could be the 2nd) Christmas card of the year.  This is pretty plain and simple but I do think it is cute with the little bit of pouf in the boots and hat.

The patterned paper that I used on the card is from MME's 12 Days of Christmas.  The ribbon is some I had in my stash from PTI and the rest is pretty self explanatory I think.

Tomorrow is my birthday so between today and tomorrow I hope to get lots of creating done so I can get a bit ahead of things...we shall see!

Now...go visit my DT sisters, k?

You Got Ink Where?

Thought of the day: I just had to share this funny!

What fun - the poof on her boots and hat made me smile! Love it :) Yay for having a start on your Christmas cards! I'm looking forward to seeing Corageous - have heard mostly good about it, and it sound like a 'me' movie! So...do you have big plans, Birthday Girl??? DH taking you someplace special tomorrow? Can't wait to hear all about it. Be sure to eat cake...lol! Have a great evening - hugs!

SUCH a cute card Lorie. Love the DP and sketch. Hope you had a really great birthday! Sorry, I'm not much of a Facebook person and haven't hardly been on at all this week. I'm such a loser.
