Veteran's Day

I am thankful today.  I am thankful for the less than 1% of the US population that voluntarily puts their lives on the line to serve their country in the armed forces.  I'm also grateful for those who support our soldiers.  You don't have to like anything about the military and what it does but you have to respect the decision they made and the life they live.

Now, be purposeful today...when you see a Veteran or if you know one...thank them for their service, their sacrifice (they sacrifice in so many different way), and if they don't know what to say or act embarrassed don't be upset...they appreciate what you are saying they just don't know how special they are!

I think I will always get choked up when I see a man in uniform. Sigh...what a great page, with both your boys in their uniforms. Thanks for sharing :)

Fabulous layout and how proud you must be to have raised two such wonderful men. God bless those who serve!

What a wonderful way to commemorate Veteran's Day. I did send my favorite veterans a note. Three of my siblings served in the military and I thank them every year. Thank you to you and your family who have sacrificed for all of us. May they all be blessed.
