I'm here today with a bit of fun!
A few weeks ago, seven of us decided we would do a Christmas/Winter card swap.
It was so much fun to see the different cards come in, that we decided to take it one step
further, and do a blog hop with our swap cards!
This is just for fun...no prizes, but we hope that you are inspired by something
that you see today!
Here is my swap card:
For my card I used the snowman2build set from The Stamps of Life.
It was one of the sets for Die Hard members and I just love that it
comes with several additional dies to make your snowman super fun! For
the base of the card I used Basic Step-Ups die also from The Stamps of
Life...this die makes it SO easy to make step up cards and also has tons
of extra pieces including all the layering pieces, again love that it
makes card making so fun. For the paper and die cut snowflakes I used
an old Stampin' Up! Simply Scrappin' kit called Winter Bright...it's
perfect, huh? I just thought this card would be a fun one to send to a
friend this winter to let them know they are being thought of. :)

Lorie, I do love me a snowman, never met one I didn't fall in love with. Your side step card is so darn cute. Loving the colors and details, can't wait to see it in person. What a good idea this was, thanks to Patti!

What a cutie patootie that snowman is! Lorie, I LOVED your card! It made me happy with all of those steps and snowflakes! Can't believe you and Sue don't have your cards yet. Sigh....USPS, can't live with them, can't live without them. It's been a great swap - the best I've ever participated in! Thanks for joining in!!!
Snow people are one of my favorite images to work with especially at Christmas. Love the colors, and the step card is perfect. What a great swap Patti put together.
Side-step cards are so much fun, and yours is fantastic! I received my cards yesterday and couldn't get over how wonderful they all were. Thank you for your beautiful (and fun) addition to the mix! Cheryl

Haven't tried a side step card yet but now I think I need to put that on my to-do list, awesome card! This was a fun hop, my first one to boot! Patti is sure getting my mojo revved up, something I needed! I was going to use these cards to send to friends but have decided to keep them for inspiration. :) Thanks again and Happy Holidays!
