New Phone Background For You!

I know...it has been a horribly long time since I've been here but with my son home I've just been soaking in the time with him!  I have a freebie for you though!  A new smart phone background for the time from now until the New Year!

I'll be back soon to show you my Spring Mini swap card.  I haven't done a swap in so long so I am stressing about it a little but I hope it will be okay!  Have a wonderful day all and let me know if you have questions about the background!

Gift Certificate

First, DEBBY AND STEPHANIE DO NOT READ THIS UNTIL AFTER OUR LUNCH!

Good morning friends!  Lots of fun stuff going on today...well, some fun some not.  I get to have my nails done today...that shellac nails stuff.  I hope it will stay on for a long time!  Then lunch with some friends and then the eye doctor.  I'm actually looking forward to the eye doctor as I've been having some very irritating issues for awhile...yes, I'm getting older and it is getting more and more difficult for me to see up close.  I hope it can all get worked out!
Anyway, I don't typically exchange gifts with friends but there are two that I used to work with (Debby and Stephanie) that we do exchange gifts.  Just something small but usually hand made so this year, since they are amazing crafters and since I'm a SU! demo I am giving them a certificate for $15 off one of my classes (which may make the next class free if they come!) because we haven't had the chance to stamp together in awhile so I thought it would be fun.  I saw this idea of making the gift card holders like this (5.25" x 7") and I think they just turned out darling!

Just so you know... I could make a super cute gift certificate holder for you to give a SU! gift certificate to your friend/loved one.  Just let me know the amount you'd like the gift certificate to be and I'll get to work!

Alright, I'm off to get my day started with a 7:15 a.m. physical therapy appointment with Kyler.  Have a wonderful day! From Millan.Net

Pink and Blue

Okay, so maybe there will be a couple of more posts of Christmas stuff!  I had enough kisses to make two more trees so I went with unconventional colors...fun!
Second verse same as the first directions wise I just used Pretty in Pink and Pacific Point cardstock.  I From Millan.Net the pink one which is not at all shocking considering pink is my favorite color!

So there you go...a short post for today!

A forest of Hershey's!

It's FRIDAY! Woot, woot!  It is good to have a weekend coming up with something fun planned during it.  It is a Rigadoon weekend (our dinner/dance club) so Todd and I get to go spend some time together...yay!  Today I have for you what I think is my last Christmas post (though don't hold your breath as you never know).  I wanted to make something for Kyler to give to his teachers if he wanted to and for his Karate instructors.  These trees are perfect!  I've actually made 9 of them with enough "stuff" left over for two more...I'm going to make those in blue...kinda funky I think.

Anyway, the super easy to follow directions are HERE.  I made all of these in a very short period of time so it is definitely a project you could take on and easily finish in an evening.  Qbee even has 'time saving scoring/cutting guide' if you are going to make more than one included in her directions.  What a gal!

Alright!  I've got lots to do.  I have one more Christmas gift errand to run then a package to get out tomorrow and then I'm done!  Woohoo! From Millan.Net

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hour Hour!

Here's to Thursday 'cuz that means Friday is right around the corner...yay!  It has been one of those weeks where it's wow, today is Thursday and you mean it is only Thursday are both valid!  How has your week been going?
So, I thought I'd depart from the red and green of Christmas for a little while and share the birthday card I made for Todd.  His birthday was Sunday and I made it on...Sunday.  Bad wife...I know.  You may recall that yellow is his favorite color so I used some paper from the new Print Poetry DSP pack that will be in the Spring Catalog.  Midnight Muse and Summer Starfruit are the two colors well, along with Crumb Cake of course.  The image and sentiment is from the Happy Hour set which is in the Holiday Catalog.  See, so you got your first Spring Mini preview today!

I'm working on another Christmas project which I think I can finish up today, show it to you tomorrow and then I'll be able to dive into the Spring Catalog goodies...yay!

I've got another busy day in front of me so I'm going to get to working on my project this morning before everything goes crazy.  Have a wonderful day all!  From Millan.Net

An Origami Box

Today is a photo heavy post so hold on and enjoy!  Most of you know that in addition to being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator I'm also a Lemongrass Spa consultant.  Click HERE if you want to know more.  Anyway, my gift for my nieces are four different scents of LGS Body Icing.  The Body Icing is fantastic for those with dry skin and they are all scented with essential oils...no formaldehyde or phthalates in our products!  I thought maybe the girls needed a fun box to store them in so I made them each an origami box (instructions from SCS) and topped them with a pretty bow!

I know this photo is a bit strange as I took it on my bedroom floor after tying the bows.  Just lovely carpet, eh?  Anyway, I really think the girls will like these and I imagine they will both keep the boxes, too.  And just so you know, I used some retired Purely Pomegranate ribbon on these boxes.  I had some left (yep, I loved that color when SU! had it) so I pulled it out and it was complimentary so I went with it!

Today I'm sending all but one Christmas gift that needs to be sent!  For me, I'm SO far ahead...I'm so proud of myself!  How are you doing with your Christmas list of things to do?

Good news and pretty card today!

And here we are at Tuesday! How did your Monday go?  Today I get to announce something personal in my life and that is...I got a job.  Yep, a real paycheck earning, outside of the house job!  I'm working for the Waddell & Reed Financial Advisor here in town.  As with any new job there is a learning curve but I like it already so that is good!  I just really want to be an asset to her business so please be praying for me to learn quickly and be bold when necessary.  Onto the card...
Today's card is probably my favorite of those that were made at the holiday class.  I saw this idea at Wendybell's blog and thought it was just beautiful so I decided to go for it.  It is pretty clean and simple and the framelits make this card so easy to make!  The photo is not doing this card justice as the Midnight Muse with the Silver Shimmer Paper is just stunning!  I also just love the rhinestones in the middle of the snowflakes.

So....I got my Spring Catalog order the other day.  I got some super fun stuff and can't wait to share some creations with you using it all!  I think later in the week you'll see things starting to shift from Christmas to a little more all purpose creating to Valentine's day!  I'm also planning on putting together a January Stamp Class so stay tuned for more info on that!

Alright, my new job is three days a week...Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday so today is a day off for me.  I will be heading to drop off Kyler and then over to Jazzercise to work out.  Then me and those Spring Catalog items have a date!  I have some super fun ideas in my head for them!

Have a wonderful day all!From Millan.Net

Ornament Keepsakes

I know, I know...last Wednesday I said I'd be back. The week and the weekend just got away from me!  I do have three more days worth of projects to share so we are good at least through Thursday!
This card is similar to one I made a couple of weeks ago.  This time I was able to use SU! framelits (see supply list below) and I used a different ornament piecing the ornament so it is two different colors.  I gotta tell ya I love the two colored ornament on this card and the ease of this one would make it perfect for replication...in other words you still have time to make these for your Christmas cards this year!

You also still have a couple of days to get your Christmas Stampin' Up! order in or if you'd like me to contact your loved ones I'd be happy to!  Just e-mail me your wish list and the phone numbers/e-mails of those you'd like me to contact and I'll get right on it!

This is a short but sweet post today but I'm glad you stopped by!  See you tomorrow!

Greetings--

It's morning time again!  Okay, almost mid-morning for some of you but it isn't even 7 a.m. here yet!  Time for another preview of one of the cards we will be making at the Holiday Stamp Class on Saturday.  there is still time for you to sign up and attend!
This lovely card (that was cased from Cindy Major) is one of my favorite that I've made.  I love how it is kinda clean and simple and yet fun and expressive at the same time.  I'm just getting so much use out of the Christmas stamps and framelits that I bought this year...love that!  Did you notice the addition of the bling?  It is great that SU! now has rhinestones...yay!

Just a quick little post for you today.  You can shop my SU! store HERE and find me on Facebook HERE.  Oh, did you see that I added a follow me on Pinterest button?  Yep it is at the top in the left column.  Go ahead and follow me...I promise not to get lost!

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Progressive Scrap Page - Final Week

Good morning friends! Whew, life has been going in hyper speed here lately but I should be back for a few days in a row...yay!  Today I get to show you the fourth and final page of the November progressive page challenge from Splitcoast Stampers.

The final task was to add a title, Cabo in my case, and on the opposite open area of the page do some jounalling.  I've had this super fun clear alphabet for some time in my digi stash and I knew it would be perfect for this page as I wanted something that wouldn't take away from the photo too much but would still be fun.

Well, what do you think?  You can see week one HERE, week two HERE, and week three HERE.  Wait, I never posted week two on my blog so the link above will take you to SCS.Alrighty friends, I think I'm going to do a page of the same view only hurricane style next...heehee, I think it will be interesting to compare!

I hope you have a fantastic day!
